It's great! My shed has been completed and it turned out nice looking and sturdy and it is way better than the sheds that many of my neighbors had put up. Of course, I'm pleased with the outcome and this Ryan's ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxGZedDTcDfgD7fG_uU4esfx_EgxzlY2_1 Plans was extremely useful to me as a guide.
Thank you so much for your videos. I have been following your work over few years. I am from skandinavia where we have quite different style carpentery. Could you please demonstrate and explain more detail how you use dowtail joint to connect different building parts. How you determing size of it.

I'm building a small garden building and want to use korean timber framing. Could you help me with the design or how joints are cut and dimensions. I visited Korea and loved your communal pavilions. I wish I'd picked up some books when I was there. Thank you
it's looking great! would it be possible without metal nails?! is it possible to use only wood and wood joints?! thank you for always sharing your experience with us! 🙏🙏🙏
I don't understand why in Korea the rafters are round without joint processing, which sit on the edges of square beams, practically in a single point of support, the only attachment being the 2 long screws. I don't think that those screws will withstand more snow accumulated on the lower ends of the roof... maybe only if soil is added, increasing the weight of the upper part of the roof...
I'm curious to learn about the tradition of what appears to be a dead fish tied to the ridge beam. Is that like the pine bough on the top of western timber frames? An offer of gratitude to the trees or forest? What's the story?

I can buy it at the sawmill.
