Singing Waters been in hiding for decades, and now it’s out there for all to enjoy. Without a doubt, Doo Wop is the greatest sounding music to ones ear.
I like both versions too. However, I give the other group version a hair better because of the ending. Both are Doo Wop sounds the greatest sounding music to one ear.
Ken, I like to watch it on UA-cam, his articles in the 80's and 90's about white groups in magazines were my favorites, please visit my blog about White groups.

Great song.
Laurie/Rust had the early 60's doowop/vocal group sound down pat! This is a perfect example. Group's material reminded me of the Jarmels.

Out of Space Colors!
I thought the Truetones had this nailed till I heard this version.
I love this!
Oh!🙂❣️🙌🏻
WOW good one.
WOW! another great one! I have the 2 records on Lake but wasn't familiar with the Laurie sides. Really nice and thank you!
My fav version....killer!!!!!😃
The screeching violins in the Cashmeres version pushed me to favor the Truetones version.
A true Doo Wopper never downs another singing the same song. Always rate them both even.
Nice.
Not sure because the small print is hard to read, but it looks like this and the Truetones' version have the same arranger (who is also a co-writer).
Almost sound like Brook Benton never been the other guy you know I'm talkin about can't remember his name
A little Sam Cook.
the greastest music
