I know you’re really into your LS 430 and I have one too. Great cars. You said that the oscillating automated climate controlled vents were a bit gimmicky. I don’t think you really understand how they work. So observe them and see to if you can get them to perform as I will describe. On A/C set passenger to 23.5, set driver to 19*. They are connected to a program that modulates the air flow independently right and left centre vents, from the Left and right passenger. So if the one passenger wants cold and the other passenger wants it warmer, the oscillating vent will direct the air onto one particular passenger as selected. The scope of the sweep changes decreasing in range of its oscillation to mitigate from the person who doesn’t want the same temperature.Hens favouring your temperatures selection. It reduces the sweep to accommodate this function.Correspondingly, the other passenger’s air sweep is limited to their zone. When you have it on maximum cold say, it’s a full sweep from side to side for both passengers.
Its a beautiful car, I bought one myself afew weeks ago (2002 Model) with all the features yours has, best car I have ever owned and I`ve owned many many cars in my lifetime including an E-Type Jaguar. For pure comfort Lexus can not be beaten.

I had almost the same exact car - same exterior color - but Black leather inside, and also an Ultra Luxury (I call it a “7-Button” car, because it had 7 buttons on the dash below the radio, telling you it’s an Ultra). Amazing vehicle wish I still had it! Enjoy in good health and great reliability for many many miles my friend!
Ultra luxury package (real rare package) has wave cruise radar and back seats with ventilation, because "President" package also has 7 buttons on central dashboard.
i'm in Baltimore & just bought an '06 SC430 (same engine as in your car). Terrific engine/car. I thought my headlight washers were broken too until my brother told me that they only work when the headlights are ON. LOL!

No fuse blown or anything..... guess what it was.... I went to get a oil change and they filled my windshield washer reservoir and it worked lol. It was low on wiper fluid. If it's low you can only use the fluid for the windshield. Lexus thought of it all lol. They're like your windshield is more important than them headlights if your fluid is low.
Newer flagships doesn't have these many features, and this is just 2006 model, this car blown my mind, ohh and this car is over engineered, this is why this the best lexus ever built, I am also toyota and lexus guy, I used to have 02 es300, she was gone at 200k, I am really looking for 07 gs450h with low mileage, but it's really hard to find

After the LS 430, per oscillating vents, the LS 460 did not include this feature as it was an expensive item. On earlier models of the LS400 there was a 3-D - effect in the instrument cluster which was $2700 back in 1992 if you needed to replace it, Lexus drop that because it was too expensive to continue it into the later LS 400 years.
Hi. Batman. I tried with the Headlights on while pushing the headlight washer button. I changed the fuse just in case. The windshield wiper fluid works perfectly. I read that the windshield wiper fluid and the headlight washer fluid runs off the same motor so I really don't know why it's not working. It makes no noise or anything. I think it might be unplugged. I lifted the driver and passenger side nossels and their perfect nothing out of the ordinary. The spring mechanism is still working too. So no clue.
If I remember correctly the headlights must be on AND they will only work after the 3rd Time you use your windshield washer fluid function. if you have pressed the headlight wash activation button. I think
Believe it or not they were never broken. No fuse needed to be changed. I didn't have enough window washer fluid lol. To use the Headlight Washers: Make sure you have enough Windshield Wiper Fluid unlike I did duh lol. Headlights on and then push the Darn button lol.
You can use cassette adapter to play via your smartphone. I use on my GS300 on 07 plate though I have Bluetooth that comes with the car but I prefer my £5 Bluetooth FM attachment set on FM 87.50.
To be honest I can name a few. 1. No active blind spot monitoring and assist. 2. No heads up display. 3. No back up collision prevention. 4. No Night Vision. 5. No Cross Traffic monitoring nor prevention in the Front and Rear. 5. No 360 camera; Birdseye View or 3D surround. 6. No lane assist of any kind. 7. No Auto Hold. 8. No reverse back up lines. 9. No 100% stop and go Dynamic Cruise Control. 10. No Auto start /stop 11. No pedestrian detection 12. No active front collision avoidance does give you warning and tighten the seat belt 13. No Exit Prevention. Just to name a few. Basically None of the Advance Safety features.

The 2002 does not come with a back up camera but mine does come with the front and rear sensors that will beep the closer you get to an object

No, they don't but you can use a cassette to aux and works just as well.

Bluetooth for phone calls, but a bt/aux can easily be added that allows you to stream music that shows the information on the screen.
