I’m finally cutting losers quickly and I wish I’d heard this statement 6 months ago!
I really have to thank you both for this amazing interview. Very good job! Thanks Jon for bringing these amazing traders to the channel, asking the right questions and giving space to the interviwer to express himself. Also thanks Richard for being here. Loved the analogies and how you covered this topic with all that wisdom.
the fact that with this amount of experience and knowledge he shows that you can still struggle is amazing, trading is a constant improvement and work .
I can totally empathize with Jon when it comes to the parallel between poker and trading. My poker skillset and mentality has been crucial to my success in trading.
Wow, great interview Richard. Jon's explanations and responses are like he is commenting on my personal trading, I was blown away. I took me a little more than 2 hours to get through the i.25 hr. video. I had to keep stopping because there was so much information to absorb. Thank you, to both you and Jon.
This seems one of the best (if not the best) in the channel for me. Would it be possible to concentrate on this aspect of trading in future interviews? Specially with guests which are really good and reappear but we've barely hear them about much else that entries and setups. Looking forward for videos focusing on this subject with more top traders pls. Great job.
When I first started I was using smaller dollar amounts yet I wasn’t looking at my %. I would look at the $ gain or loss and not really pay attention to what % I was up or down. Look at your % not$ and put yourself into perspective.
the amount of times that ive crossed the pain threshold and overtraded all my days or weeks gains away are noticeable, definitely gotten better at minimizing it, once ive made a solid amount for the day depending on the market enviornment, ill just walk away now and come back tomorow and make some more.
An Humble Suggestion. Request if You can ask guest speakers to speak in a moderate tempo. Because the knowledge when some speaker is imparting same has to be grasped and assimilated simultaneously. Thank you.
assuming you are legit... this is a useless info.. the biggest problem for most short term traders is NOT mistakes... they simply don't have an edge, at all.... all are just trading random noise.
Many of our interviews are based around techniques, but if you don't have a system to control the mental side of trading it doesn't matter how much you know, you will eventually go on tilt.
I loved both interviews with Jon and I hope you'll bring him back on podcast soon. Grateful to @TraderLion & @RichardMoglen once again. Correct me if its already covered & I missed out on it but one thing that I would love Jon to touch upon is how does he scale in/ scale out of the position, a little more in depth trade management? Does he add on to his positions & how? Also, is there a way to connect with him? Tried instagram/youtube.

Awesome takeaway from this Jason!
Thank you, Jon Brody, for the brilliant interview. Thank you, Richard Moglen, for inviting Jon to speak. Every moment of this interview is precious.
Thanks!
i love it when i've only listed to about 2:45 into the interview and already i've picked up something i will use forever in my trading!
Awesome!
SIMPLY SUPERB..Key takeaway - A data bag of mental feelings is built over time for guidance in the longer run..Great Job Richard.Keep them coming 👏
Great takeaway! It's often the gritty behind the scenes work that allows our trading to jump to the next level.
Loved the mental game advice this gentleman gave through this interview.
Please do another interview with him, he seems to have a lot to teach us.
Will do
that's GEM. Earn the right to take risk and scale up. When ATR is becoming large, alarms should start.
Great takeaway!

I can totally empathize with Jon when it comes to the parallel between poker and trading. My poker skillset and mentality has been crucial to my success in trading.
Great to hear!
A seasoned and successful trader giving great advice! Thanks!
Our pleasure!
Super good interview...I was glued
Glad you enjoyed it!
Everything he said about watching every tick applies to me!
🙌
Very informative interview
Glad you enjoyed it!
That 26:00 area scenario happened to me today. After market closed and assessment, I realized it.
Good to realize it, now time to build some rules to limit it's impact in the future!
Such a great interview!!
Good job once again Richard.
Thanks!
I like his thought process, makes a lot of sense to me!great talk guys!
Jon always fires us up when he presents. No BS just the truth!
Thanks Richard. Another pep talk I needed. I glean a little bit from each interview which helps me.
Awesome to hear that!
Such a wealth of knowledge. Useful actionable information, great podcast. Thanks
Thanks for watching :)
great interview, thanks a lot! super appreciate the conversations.
Our pleasure!
This interview is for already profitable traders who want to take trading to next level. What an interview
Boom & bust or profitable traders probably benefit the most!
This was a great interview!
Thanks!
Trying to make every trade a winner instead of taking a small loss has been the #1 performance limiter. Win rate means so little.
100%
It's literally the hardest thing to get over

We will have Brody on again this weekend
Great interview, thanks Jon and Richard much appreciated.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks Ted
Great chat 🎉
Yes it was
Fantastic interview!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great interview and i love his blunt way of expressing things. His camera need an upgrade though.
As long as you could hear him!
One of my favorites. YUGE
Awesome!!!
When I first started I was using smaller dollar amounts yet I wasn’t looking at my %. I would look at the $ gain or loss and not really pay attention to what % I was up or down. Look at your % not$ and put yourself into perspective.
This is the way to scale up without emotions building with the higher $ amounts.
When was this filmed @traderlion?
This was back during our 2023 Summer Conference
@@TraderLion thanks, the struggle in the last few months makes more sense now.
Thank you guys! Amazing valu!
Of course! Glad you found this useful :)
good one, thanks guys...
Our pleasure!
very good stuff thanks
You bet!
So far this has been gold - nothing about what to buy purely what determines a sucessful vs less successful trader/rading period
Glad you are finding it valuable!
Wow, good information
Thanks for watching!
Very good podcast
Thanks for listening!

Make sure you're doing the reverse too (more important). Once your down a certain amount it's time to walk away.
Ok but what exactly is his trading method?
He's an institutional day trader. This interview was based on the mental side of trading.
An Humble Suggestion. Request if You can ask guest speakers to speak in a moderate tempo. Because the knowledge when some speaker is imparting same has to be grasped and assimilated simultaneously. Thank you.
Thanks for the feedback! We'll do our best going forward.
Very good
Thanks!
Anyone trading million dollar blocks has my attention!
Brody trades big
Listen if you don't follow my rules 100 years from now you will pay the price. Good advice.
Exactly, we always want to limit the risk of ruin!
That doesn’t make sense because if he’s doing that by the time he pays taxes, he’s not making any money
Pray for India

We’ll have Jon on as often has he’d like! While he’s focused more so on the mental aspects it’d be nice to hear the trade management too.
