Like for everything, people will have different things to say. Haha but i'm a beginner, i don't have loads of money so i'm trying it and we will see ! i know I am not going to play a lot of hardcore metal, so I am okay with it. The amp also does a lot for the tone. Let me know which one you're getting when you've made a choice ☺️
@Natalia Arzate honestly I think it's not that bad for versatility ! But do listen to some reviews and feel the sound lol. They usually play differents tones to help.
1 thing i did notice about this guitar is that the tuners are positioned in a way that makes the bass side strings very long, unlike most guitars. Do you find this string length increase is better for drop lower tunings like D standard or drop C or B? Also does it make bending/vibrato easier or harder on certain strings? And awesome playing btw :)
i think its nice but the thing that i think is missing is the tremolo bridge damn, but probably would buy it next year as my 2nd guitar, planning to sell my strat to my classmate

This one is a gazillion times sexier, and you make it sound awesome so.. I like what you said about the reversed knobs so you can drop tune easier? I'll be doing that a lot :D
damn that thing looks cool in all black
Just got mine and it's true, it's actually a beautiful guitar and sounds great for the price.
I just bought and Ibanez Gio that was front man for CheVelle’s practice guitar for in between gigs and shows. it was custom made for him and signed by the whole band. It’s a different model than this one.
It’s arriving tommorow and I’m so excited. Just thought I’d share ;)
this is the first guitar im gettin and im so fucking stoked
I bought a red and white version of this very guitar just a couple days ago
I'm literally only getting this over a 421 because of the reverse headstock lol it's so cool
I think this has gotta be my metal guitar! What an amazing bit of kit for the price. Some updated pickups and tuners maybe, will be a beast!
02:32 song?!
Literally any metal song ever
I ordered this one, I’m modding the shit out of it.
Nice shredding, Dagan!! Impressive guitar too!
Just ordered this as my first Guitar, super excited. WOW! can't wait to rock.
how has it been?
@@helanlexa5513 Stealth black looks amazing, and a great price, very comfortable for a beginner. Put just over 140 hrs in so far, progress is very good. Highly recomended.
Oh and double this up with a positive grid spark amp. WOW!
@@jacko1144 Nice to hear, I’m close to getting it myself !
@@helanlexa5513 You will love it, let us know how you get on.
I'm very happy fo the video brother. I'm picking up a "like new" used one later this week. I wasn't sure I'd like it too much, but the price is more than right. Anyway, you've sold me on it and I'm now looking forward to playing it. Great vid and great playing. Keep it heavy and stay safe!
Cant wait to get my hands on one. Looks beautiful!!!!
Picked one of these up a couple days ago. Best £200 I've ever spent.
I actually did come to see if this guitar can do the blues. I'm itching to get my hands on that guitar!
Man I've been play for 20 years got one coming going too still in a jb in the bridge new tuners will be a monster
I just bought it and I love it
Needs more black!
Did somebody ever tell you that you look like russell brand's twin? Excellent chanel by the way. Keep up the good work.
ok! I'm gonna buy this for sure! thank you so much for the information about this killer!!
Just got 1. Good lucking guitar. Pickups are muddy. Neck feels plastic/cheap but is flat/fast. Gonna put Pegasus/Sentient set in to add some fire! Overall a good bargain at $199 shipped.
I am gonna get this one for sure
Been playing for decades and always considered myself a snob, but at this point when you have a good setup on $300 guitar, change the pickup pots tuners to give you a $500 guitar; I can no hardly tell the difference between my $2000 guitars.
2:32 that is such a sick riff
did you find out what song is this
Awsome riff
@@savin9424 what s the name of the song
@3:15 my entire metal career summarized
I have multiple Ibanez, my baby is my 8750z but everything has a trem... I found one of these today and wholly @#$%, it's freakin' amazing for the price and so metal!
That's not gonna be my first guitar, but i wanted, so nice sound and cheap. ♡ is good to have one like this ^ I have already Ibanez blue Chameleon ^^ but i want this too ^^
haaaaa I want to buy my first electic guitar but I have no idea what to get, I absolutely adore the all black look (don't like the squier/pacifia semi white look) but it seems they all are focused on metal - and I would like to play different genres ! pop, soft rock, classic rock, glam, punk, why not some blues ?? damn, so hard to find a versatile, all black and cheap guitar ! if any of you has any idea please let me know
@Natalia Arzate so i'm setting my mind on an ibanez grg170dx !!
@Natalia Arzate yeah, i've seen every kind of opinions, they're not always unanimous. But i have to make a choice or i'll never get a guitar 😆 i've seen ppl say it's good for rock genres but not enough for metal, good for polyvalence, blabla...
What did you end uo buying ? Im in the exact situation as yours, help me out !
Love the vids 🤘🏻🎸
this guitar will be a killer for me if only it has a two point trem
Remember that song she bangs?! That should be this guitars intro music
Super instrument avec belle allure je la possède j'en suis ravis 😊
I bought first Gio GRX55B in 2015
My friend bought this the other month or so and he literally used it to play Bluegrass and like light rock and I was like "BRUH seriously?" 🤣
now this is what i need
i think its nice but the thing that i think is missing is the tremolo bridge damn, but probably would buy it next year as my 2nd guitar, planning to sell my strat to my classmate
U play so well
Would you recommend this over the Jackson js22? I’m looking for a first guitar and want to learn to play metal and heavy rock!
Whoa, I'm sold
Great, now I don't know whather to chose the thsi or the grx70qa. This one doesn't seem as versatile though.
The grx70qa is gonna be a little more expensive but from what I can tell both are amazing guitars at amazing price ranges. I know personally I'm gonna be picking up this first
I’m planning on buying this as my first guitar, how does it sound without an amp? I plan on buying an amp later on, so I’m hoping it’ll still sound good without out
The pick guard looks so weird. Looks like a good 10mil of space between it and the actual bridge.
Hi there! I am hesitating between this guitar and the Ibanez RG421. I want the guitar to tune in 'A' and play old school death metal. Which one do you recommend?
Hmm. Well, she's definitely None More Black. But, there appears to be something missing from the bridge 🤔
This one or the Ibanez RGA42FM-TGF ?? 😭
of course ibanez RGA42FM-TGF
Dagan makes any guitar look small.. That Ibanez will look big-ish on me. lol
Very nice guitar
This guitar or the GRG121DX???
Been playing the 131EX for 3 months now and I love it, it’s my 2nd guitar so far. Been practicing for 6 months, soon as I get better I’ll be getting a nicer guitar.
Ibanez is very very good brand.... My first guitar was 270dx and then 2570ex... But a good player can make everything sound more amazing... Just saying.....
thank you im gonnag et this guitar
are there any hard cases this will fit into like a glove?
Is it good for playing AC/DC, GNR, Pink Floyd, Queen, Led Zeppelin??
Anyone who bought this guitar, out of the box, how the string action is? is it too high or just nice?
Very nice video!
i just have one question. what pedals would you recommend for a beginner metal guitarist with this model.
To bad ibanez doesn't offer it with a flyod in it..I really like it.
Just switch it with some aftermarket pickup and voila!
mine is with a black neck too
Between the ibanez grgr221pa and the grgr131ex, which one is better?
In which country was this guitar made?
China.
Del 1 al 10, que tal buena es?
5, podría llegar a un 7 con un upgrade de pickups
Which one is better between grg121dx and grg131ex please. I’m looking for heavy sounds where I can play both metal and other genres. Can you please help me thank you
