I enjoyed seeing your WIP's. I especially like your Little House Needleworks row of shops, you have so many good ideas like the birch trees and some houses touching just like they do quite often. I did cross stitch several years ago then stopped when I discovered quilting, I'm now back into cross stitching for about a year now and loving it, it brings me Joy. During this crisis we saw our next door Neighbors outside more often, everyone getting out for a walk, but here in Arizona it's getting too hot to be out during the day so mostly early mornings or late evenings are the only cooler times for walking. Usually right around Halloween is when we get a break from the heat. Congrats to Mikenna on her graduation.
WOW!! You have been busy outside and inside. Well, here goes...”It would be a JOY to stitch a HALLOWEEN SAMPLER for my NEIGHBOR!!” I have embraced cross stitching again and am so loving it, as much as my quilting. I am so blessed. I have a total of 5 projects. I made project bags for each and I get all giddy when I pull my projects out. Of course, I am doing the “Stitch Everyday” and have everything to finish just like yours!! I am one happy stitcher. I enjoyed all your WIPs and starts. Looking forward to seeing you and Liz together again!
Dear Deb, The parade of your projects was a treat. It was lovely to see the delightful 1/1 Floral alphabet again. I stitched it in the mid 80s(2/2) from a Permin kit and have it on display to this day. If other viewers are interested the chart, Floral ABC is available to purchase still. You reminded me that I have the Blue Ribbon Design chart Quilted Garden. I am off now to organise the threads and get started on it. I shilly-shallied whilst considering whether or not to extend the border to all four sides. I look forward to a peek at your final WIP basket. Thank you and take care, Linda.
My next door "neighbor" is such a "joy"! Every "Halloween" she makes special goodie bags for my grandkids for when they knock on her door. I am finally stitching a "sampler" that I saw on your hallway wall and am so excited to get it done...it will be the first big stitch that I am actually doing for myself! I have 5 kids and 23 grandkids and I have stitched graduation, wedding, masters and birth samplers for them all! I would so appreciate a giveaway since my hubby has cut me off of shopping for awhile! Love your videos...you are my stitching buddies!
Wow! What a wonderful WIP parade, Deb! It's always a treat to see your stitching. Though we mostly get along with our neighbor, sometimes it's hard to remember to love them when it's midnight and they want to carry conversations and music outside their back porch that is, of course, just over our bedroom window. 😒 Aside from that, they are really a nice family.
Deb, you sure have me beat with your wips. I thought I had the most & recently I’ve ordered more patterns & fabric from 3 different places. I try so hard not to, so I will finish all that I have, but that little stitch bug keeps whispering in my ear, order more lol.
When you talked about the buildings being attached to each other in a quaint little town. I know about that cause I grew up in one of those little towns with stores like that. So that’s a great idea of the way you are going to stitch some of the stores together. You always have such good ideas & are so talented. You are such a beautiful person & I really envy you. Hugs

I love to see your WIP parade. I have realized much of the joy of cross stitch is shopping and starting projects. My son used to live in Chambersburg and this is the 1st time I wish he was still there. I could meet y'all in person. We visited Gettysburg and it was beautiful and quaint. The sampler would be fantastic to stitch.
Thank you for filming in a way that shows your table/desk top so I can see what you are arranging. Most Floss Tube videos only show head and shoulders which means the viewer is left in the dark until the object is finally flashed in front of the screen. Loved seeing all your WIPs and wishing with you that you have plenty of time to stitch all the things you love. 👍😍
I am blessed by one of the best neighbor's anybody could have. I haven't stitched a counted cross stitch sampler yet and that is one of the things I really want to do!! Thank you for sharing all of your WIP's, they are all beautiful and you do such nice work. Looking forward to seeing you and Liz back together again! I love your podcasts so much. Your kindness and authenticity come through in all that you do. After 25 years of living in the same home, we are moving to be closer to our children so I’d love to stitch the “Love thy neighbor” chart. However, my 4 year old grandson was particularly pleased with Halloween decorations this year so that might be fun too. But, my new love of samplers would make that a beautiful stitch also! It would be a Joy to go visit my elderly Neighbor before Halloween to show her the Sampler I stitched which is a gift from Liz and Deb. Hope you are both well. Deb, your yard looks amazing. Hopefully, we will be able to get together and stitch this fall.
First time watching, won’t be my last for sure. Loved seeing all your WIPS. I really find joy knowing other stitchers work on lot of different projects at the same....I’m not alone🙂

I would consider washing or soaking and swishing that piece that is on the stiff 40 count that summer piece you dislike. It might soften up! It’s worth a shot.

It brought my Neighbor great Joy to see that I stitched the Halloween Sampler. I absolutely loved seeing your WIPS. There were several that I would like to add to my stash. Congrats to McKenna! I know that your heart swells with pride.

A lot of things being stitched Deb😊 It’s so nice to have so many choices and the “By The Bay” are charts I got a couple years ago as a birthday gift to me. I hope I will get on it soon😁 I love samplers! They are my favorite but love smalls in between. I’m working on my last chart for the Schoolhouse Lessons and so love them❤️ It was a little different stitching on the 25/28 ct. but I hung in there and now I love it! I think the key is to stitch them on one piece of fabric and then separate after stitching. Scroll rods are such a great tool for me versus the Morgan Hoop I’m using. Ohio is open and it feels so good to finally be able to get outdoors more. Take Care!

Wahaaa lol 🤣 rofl. Oh that’s hilarious, I’m sorry but I needed that. And it why I totally agree with That, cause I don’t do the actual stitching along, either. Lol I get bored with and usually can’t keep up, cause like you other things take my interest. Romans 12:12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. When my daughter was a little girl.. she loved her dresses that would flare out when she would turn in a circle. She called them her “ turn around” dresses.! ....”My neighbor lovesTo stitch Halloween charts but I love any holiday sampler!”❤️❤️❤️

Spread joy to your neighbor, not only during Halloween but a little sampler of kindness each day! I did it! I used each word! 🤣 Loved the wip parade. I am fond of back stitching too. My LNS that I want to shout out is Cecelia's Sampler in Branson,Mo. Adorable little shop that I visit when I can. Only a couple of good shops left in Missouri.

I am so excited at the possibility of seeing you and Liz 'together' again soon. I so appreciate that you've both continued to make videos and share during this challenging time. Your finish and wips are amazing, Liz and who doesn't love a nice sampler or two going at all times?!? We have a sweet neighbor who always brought our kids so much joy at Halloween because they gave out the best candy.

You should make a Tiny Decisions wheel for all of your WIPs. That way you do a little on all of them and the surprise each time is fun.

I have a friend named Joy and her favorite holiday is Halloween. In fact she is one of my Neighbors. I personally love doing Samplers. You should start doing design, I love how you change your stitch projects and add to them. You are a very creative person.

I loved seeing your amazing squirrel and birch tree again. I’m also doing Hometown Holidays charts. I have Bookstore and the train station finished so far (I stitched the train station while on a cross country train trip!). I had the joy of watching a neighbor stitch a Halloween sampler last year. My goodness, but you have a lot of stitching going on :) I only have a couple at a time, but the same can’t be said for my knitting & crochet projects-although I am trying to whittle away at those... we are in the process of moving and downsizing is not always a “joy” but it’s becoming necessary now that we have 1/2 the amount of house space :) hoping for Team Deb & Liz soon, but glad you decided to go ahead and keep sharing your Joy of needlework in the meantime. Always enjoy your videos and seeing your beautiful stitching and how you are changing them. I just recently started getting back into cross stitching used to be all I did. Since it's getting warmer I'm putting knitting on the back burner except for socks! Love seeing how you enjoyed seeing what you had stashed away. That is how I felt going through my stash. I've been able to finish 3 wips so far so I'm trying. Thanks for all your videos. I recently was lucky enough to find you both and am binge watching. Have learned a lot as well. I hope you and Liz will be together soon.

I have ordered twice from InStitches in Alexandria VA twice..in april. I have been finding moments of joy with daily stitches, Halloween is in my favorite season, and trying to find a sampler to work with my new scroll frames. The joy of watching your videos is amazing. My neighbors are pretty awesome. Halloween is my husband's favorite holiday. Stitching samplers are some of my favorite things to stitch. Love yours and Liz's videos together or apart!

I too am stitching the FQS Feels Like Home and like you I am not a fan of pink. It is a good thing I had boys because if I would have had girls they would never have worn pink. I just love yellow roses. I have been trying to decide what colors to use when I come to stitching the rose. Would mind sharing the colors you are you going to use for your rose? I too like backstitching and your house looks amazing.
Be a kind neighbor on Halloween by spreading joy when you give a sampler bag of treats to each Trick or Treater.

Would love it if you could do a couple of tutorials: 1) How you created your birch bark tree and 2) How to satin stitch on cross-stitch fabric. I've used the satin stitch in crewel work but not in cross stitch! Great video!

Also a big Thank You Deb for reasoning in my head why I don’t like stitching the snow village series patterns. It’s not the pattern, it’s the fabric! I’ll be making changes on that project.

Halloween is easily my favorite holiday! Love to decorate for Halloween and I usually start at the beginning of September so that I can enjoy all of my Halloween stitched and ornamental items. Can't wait to be able to see you and Liz back together again!
