If you think she was overwhelmed by the backing singers your sound settings must be off, all I heard was her SLAYING this song!
The guy is just posting comments on every bloody video of The Voice from the beggining of this season, and he's just plain boring. But apparently he thinks he's competent of commenting on every video so just let him be. I too doubt that she was overwhelmed by the backing, actually I'm pretty sure she wasn't, but "the pro" has said his thought.
Edin Avdic Don't just insult him because you can't be bothered giving your opinion on each video you watch.
And by the way listen to 1:10 - 1:20 and tell me the backing vocals are not loud.

That wasn't insulting, just stating my opinion, learn the difference. 10 seconds doesn't count as "overwhelmed", which is the term that was used.
Edin Avdic well in those ten seconds she was trying very hard with little results. And I wouldn't had said she was overwhelmed all the way through but they didn't help her.
And I still think it's weird that they use backing vocals in the battles and the knockouts.
Geometric Fro And slaying only applies to the loud and high parts of a song, right? Forget about all the low parts, not important, let's just stumble our way through them cause here I belt!

Okay... I think Christina should have gone through! I can't help but to acknowledge Christina's perfect and impressive vocal ability, especially in this song (which, by the way, is a very difficult song to sing). She did above and beyond in this song!! Although she didn't make it, I hope she gets very far in her singing career that one day, I could actually get to hear one of her albums or hit songs. Please keep singing, Christina! I am rooting for you, all the way!
Love how the arrangement managed to cram all the power of this song in 1 minute 30 seconds! There's even a jazz reharmonization in the bridge. Very musical and cool!

All of Ricky's acts were on the highest level besides Olivia. So depressing that he could only send three through, because he had by far the strongest team.
The voice should really have a wildcard on each of the four teams in the knockouts to get a 4th act into the live show on each team voted in by the public. It'd really be an improvement IMO.

It's almost always the same thing...she can't do all the low parts of the song and then belts (and screams) her lungs out.
I think her higher notes were good, but I think she might have needed a better song choice. I really liked the end part and she can really sing. Well done anyway Christina! :)

Christina was somewhat overwhelmed by the backing and as a result didn't project herself. Even when she was belting later she didn't soar until the very latter stages. The song choice didn't do anything for me, and she didn't sell it to me. A great singer, let down by a pedestrian and unsympathetic arrangement.

Haha you must be joking, we can still her her, and she sings amazing xD that´s the problem with performances with backing singer, there are always people saying "the backing singer are singing too loud so the artist didn't do a great job" >< backing singers are here to be heard, that´s it.
