- Sans is in Smash ultimate... kinda lol. So for that and the 4 year anniversary (which is on the 15th), I wanted to make a mashup of Lifelight with, you guessed it MEGALOVANIA. Except this time it's the smash version and also trying to mimic smash's style. So commencing guitar and violin spam! (I still wish I had a good solo violin library wehhh)
Mixing guitars just doesn't get easier does it? Jesus christ I can't tell you how many frustrating moments I've had trying to get them to work with everything else, also trying to make the drumkit sound beefy enough to go well with the feel of the song. Since it seems a lot of people have trouble making drum kits loud and impacting (myself included) because of how insane the transients are with the kick and snare specifically. So compressing them is almost required if you want a loud mix. Only issue is you end up amplifying the sound of the room with the snare recording which makes it sound gross. So now you have to gate it and... yeah let me stop before I get into a rant about mixing acoustic stuff lol
Despite still being a novice with this kind of music, I'm pretty happy with how this turned out. Felt excited to input new ideas, hear them work well and I'm typing this a few days before uploading so I'm excited for you to hear it! You're probably listening to it right now as you're reading this huh? Or maybe you're the kind that waits until the end of the video to read descriptions and comments? I do that sometimes.
As for things in life, I'm really sorry about no upload last Friday.
(personal stuff incoming. Just an explanation for those who are curious)
I had a pretty bad anxiety episode last weekend. I couldn't eat or sleep properly for 3 days, trembled a lot, I was in pretty bad shape. I've always had panic attacks but this one was a whole different animal. Not entirely sure where it came from or why it got that bad, but I'm looking into counceling to hopefully learn a thing or to on how to deal with this in case it happens again. and then after getting better, I just came out of the gate working on this remix lol. It was a nice way to get my mind off things.

@COOLkid123 goodForLife_103 sans yeets the smash ball from marisa while she was distracted, using it to unleash his final smash that was nerfed from all three of them at the start of the battle.
Needless to say, all three ate papyrus's spaghetti beforehand and suffered food poisoning, but not before being obliterated by a misfire from sans's final smash.
The two women ended up in the smash hospital due to not being trained to handle poisoning well. Sans on the other hand had to fix his head for the next match.

I respect your choices. Personally, I see Papyrus as more likely than Undyne, just from an outsider’s perspective. Undyne’s advertises as an enemy in all of Undertale’s trailers, so including her as a fighter might be a bit spoilery... but then again, there’s no predicting these things, I guess.

I say that, but then Sans broke that rule by making it in as a Mii, so I'm a little less sure.

This is a (almost) perfect mix of calm piano then suddenly hard electronic music.
I don't know if it was intentional but on the megalovania parts speed it up and make the first note deeper each time like in the normal megalovania. It sounds really looped. Otherwise its my favourite Megalovania x Lifelight remix.

This is actually an unseen event to take place in smash ultimate. Where Sonic is like to the other characters with a hand pretty much saying "I got this" fighting sans do to some plot with galeem or some other force controlling sans.

There have been many renditions of this mix recently. Most of them suck, due to combining the theatrical and bright nature of Lifelight with the darker and more simplistic Megalovania. You have managed to mix them in a way that they don't constantly bash with each other the entire track. I applaud you, good sir/ma'am.

first I was angry because I know this is from the genocide route (which I have not played, and I have not even played undertale itself yet) but then I realized that is sans' song, and now the mix is beautiful and sad, and I haven't even listened to it.
