This woman is a sociopath. She had no remorse, feelings or anything else. She can never be let out of prison.

It’s funny how in the last decade or so, everyone likes to band around “sociopath” instead of “psychopath” and laymen apparently can diagnose from the two 🙄
I understand your use of the word sociopath, but unfortunately it’s a term widely used by many of us who are just at a loss for words when it comes to understanding people like this. Not everyone who does the unfathomable has a mental disorder. There are genuinely evil people with no conscience. They know right from wrong and are able to make the right decisions. People like this woman are evil. She is no sociopath. She has no mental disorder, nor was she under any stress or mistreatment that could warrant her even thinking about killing. She had lived her entire life as a normal human being. She chose to kill her family. She chose to kill them for money and because she saw them as burdens. She was selfish and petty.
This woman was a nurse. She understood how to care for people. She also knew what to use to kill with, so antifreeze was something she was aware of. She premeditated each of their deaths. She would have killed all of them. She was no sociopath. She was a selfish, greedy, needy, cold hearted, lying, evil woman. The one thing she isn’t, is intelligent. Yes, she was a nurse and you have to be able to learn and obtain knowledge, but she was not smart. She thought she was, because that’s why she continued to kill them off one by one. Then, the answers she gave the detective were very telling. Here she is a nurse and she tells the detective she only used a little bit of antifreeze to kill them, but then she confesses that she had 3-4 GALLONS of antifreeze that she was using.
One last thing she divulged to the nurses while her daughter was near death was that she was planning a trip to Florida. She wanted to be free and have money to travel.
@@Simon1985_What drives me crazy is how people use them interchangeably lol. She's definitely more of a psychopath than anything. In fact, even though I'm not a doctor, I think it's safe to say she definitely is because she exhibits all the classic signs of one. Manipulative, cold, narcissistic, maintaining a public facade of what her community expects her to be (religious town means she has to be invested in church), unusually good at controlling her emotions, no remorse whatsoever, etc.

Correction: she absolutely did speak, confessed, admitted that she did it and also exactly how she did it and clearly gave her motive at a level of detail for 2 murdered and 1 attempted murder. 🤷🏾♂️

She knew exactly how much life insurance everybody had. She wanted the money and didn't care who had to die to get it. She's a monster. She should never be released!
This was absolutley NOT about the money. Knowing how much my childrens life insurence is, does not prove that. Life insurence stands out and usually one remembers those sums more of the family members involved when signed, 'cause its a higher sum. Also she is mentioning the life insurance sums after her son and husband has died. She has litterary recieved the money when she was asked that. And also, it was litterary no money to kill for. If you watch the full interrogation of her and her daughter, you will see the motive is they are sick of them and see them as a burden. You must have really low IQ to not understand this simple thing in this case that it was obviously not about the money. And writing with that certainty that it is, when you probably haven't even read the basics of the case on wikipedia. It even has a motives section there. This was deeper and emotional/personal murders.
Yes she is a monster and should be there forever, but just correcting your flawed logic with 2 major mistakes that the motive was the money AND that you 'know' that because she knew the sums of the life insurence.

There is no way she went crazy over night. The father should have divorced her and kept him and his kids safe.
He wouldn't do that because he was an alcoholic who didn't have a job. She was the breadwinner. Imagine having to depend on the devil for your every day needs. That's exactly what happened to him.

This story and the Gypsy Rose story is only few of the plotters that walk the streets of a big/little town. But recently the middle man and side kicks have been cut out for just plain old shooters. Insanity does not always lack intent or need for responsibility, though we do associate the two. A truly insane person is sane in their own world. They can convince themselves, as anyone else does. to do what their mind considers “right” morally. Though we on the outside can differentiate our thoughts.
