Seadoo Spark Trixx Hitting Big Ocean Waves (180ies, No handers, Crashes & more)

- This past week we took a trip up to Charlestown, RI in search of some waves to jump the seadoo spark trixx on. And we lucked out, we found waves that were good sized and blast to hit. Pardon our excitement, but CT lacks any good waves to ride normally. Hit that sub button and enjoy.

Thanks dude, I’ve never been out there but i believe you got good waves near San Diego. You’ll get comfortable fast and then you’ll be launching it

Jumping waves is so much fun. I ride a 05 kawasaki stx-15F I really like that jetski for jumping waves. After a while of jumping 5 ft of air feels like nothing LOL!!
Yea dude jumping waves is a wave. It just stinks that we rarely get waves where I live.

I went out on some Kawasaki 1200 for my first time ever on some jets and although the speed is a blast i find you do way more slower moves anyways so i feel like one day ill be getting one of these!
The Kawasaki is fun but you’d have a blast on the trixx too

So many times haha, after every wave. Nothing is worse than landing a good wave only to get home and the clip is unusable haha 😂

Not to bad at all haha. I broke my sunglass frames so I just ride with out them. The sunscreen dripping in my eyes is probably worse than the salt. Hopefully they don’t make you wait to long for that trixx to come in
Did this a few times yesterday. Almost flew off my jet at one point but was so awesome riding the waves.
Great to hear! Jet skiing in the waves can be some of the most fun to be had on a jet ski
This is crazy. I've sent some waves on my trix but never that high. Basically a trix is a dirt bike for the water.

The spark is a great pwc but when you fall it’s a pain in the ass is you’re heavy to get up again

Whereabouts along the coast were you for this? I was in Charlestown a couple of weeks ago. Went over to Charlestown, Quonnie, and Weekapaug breachway. Some decent waves out there when I went but it was pretty choppy so not nice clean waves like these. Best riding I was able to find around those areas was right outside of the Charlestown breachway between it and Quonnie beach.
I’m from CT but this was all filmed directly in front of the Quonnie breach way. There was a passing storm out at the sea the week we were there
@@ShredShack Cool cool, I launched from there a few times when I was down there. Cool little area, kind of disappointing they don't let you go into any of the ponds. Where did you launch from?
The quonnie breachway ramp but the ramp gets super busy and lacks parking. And everyone looks at you funny because of that town ordinance for the pond
How is the spark doing after all that beating
Can seadoo return to normal position if it is after being hit by a strong waves?

Have you had any problems with the trixx, and what year is it?
It’s a 2020 bought in February. Only issues having been sucking items into the propeller like bottle caps which have been removed, battery terminal came loose which was tightened and fixed it and the rubber battery strap came loose wave jumping and the battery moved which was easily corrected. The trixx is running good right now and no major issues to report as of now
So when you tip over and its on its side..... do you push trim up holding gas down same time? Or can you just give it gas and the ski will then balance itself out?
I put the trim all the way up first and then accelerate, makes it much easier with the nose of the pwc coming out the water and then you are able to balance it upright as it comes up. If it is completely upside down, then you will have to roll it over per the direction on the sticker of your pwc.
Rented a trixx yesterday. It was a blast! Now I'm thinking about buying one! Looks like I could buy a normal spark and add the trim, Handel bars. and foot wedges myself and would be just like a trixx. What are your thoughts? Also have you considered any tune on the trixx for more power/response?
I have a trixx and you can buy a normal spark and convert it for cheaper, there’s no difference between them if you do, and there’s no need in tuning them if u use sport mode

Yeah it was such a blast, the waves were much larger than what we are usually accustomed to.
how reliable is the hull going like that for a long time?
It’s been super reliable so far, no issues yet
Sparks use polytec hulls. That material has made its way into ALL of the Sea-Doo models as of 2020. Of course that doesn't say anything about the long term durability of polytec itself, but I would ASSUME that Bombardier would not put it on their top end skis if they didn't think it couldn't handle this sort of thing. Ultimately only time will tell.
I have beat my Yamaha jet skis up a good bit in some big ocean waves and never had an issue yet, they are made pretty well, I do not ride my newer skis as hard as I used to, just because I am older now, but I do not worry about it too much.
Do you recommend the spark normal or spark trixx?
If you have the extra money, go for the trixx

@@pedribcnnotengo6710 The difference is the foot pads, extended handlebars, and the extended vts which is what allows the pwc to do wheelies easily

Awesome video! Would you recommend a Spark Trixx over a Yamaha EX? Looks super fun. Is it speedy enough?
The trixx does about 50 top speed and and speeds are going to be very similar on the ex. The two machines are made for two different styles of riding. The trixx is going to be more playful i.e. wave jumping, water wheelies etc. The ex is going to be a more comfortable cruiser and better for a passenger. My personal preference would be the trixx.

@@ShredShack I know its not released yet but what would be your opinion on the yamaha jetblaster? Ik its just an EX but it has the adjustable trim and is pretty much a copy of the trixx. Do you think it would be quite as fun as the trixx?
@@cheesecurdinator4010 it looks cool, but it looks heavy and not as nimble. I wish they made it smaller like the old wave blasters. Also its priced above the trixx as well.

Shred Shack i like to hit wake and flyyyyyy i have a high budget and i can do some tricks but i want to switch to a seadoo
The trixx is fun, lightweight, nimble and easy to throw around on waves. Comes in at a lower price point and can do wheelies. It’s going to be one of slower models though. For tricks and wave jumping I’d lean towards a spark/trixx otherwise for speed I’d look at a rxpx or rxtx

Was it not cold outside? I am in NC, and it is too cold to be riding for me, maybe with a wet suite, but were you guys not cold?
This was filmed in July, it was warm out and the water was fairly warm for the location. In the early and late season, I'll wear the wetsuit
