The reimagined songs represent the emotional progression of rebuilding and repairing our inner children. Last Resort and The Drug In Me Is You were representations of the degredation of emotion due to deep seeded unhealed trauma.
Just saw this reaction but you can look online and there's a video of Ronnie showing Jacoby and the rest of the Papa Roach band this before it released and he was like so nervous showing him but they are really close friends which is so cool.
It was amazing and so beautiful, the song and video both! I loved it!! Always awesome to hear new music from Ronnie!! I wasn’t expecting it either, I went on Spotify and was like WHAT OMG!
The last seconds of the video reversing the burning of the world that he did in "Watch the world burn". Powerful imagery and it did great tribute to the original.
@@chlooeeeexo They did? That's even more awesome. I'm all buried in my personal life and have no time for tours. But I think it's wholesome that despite Ronnie's troubled past and mental problems, he still can't help but shine his love for music through.
From what I had seen before, it seems like the papa roach version is the angry teenager, and this version is the depressed adult that wants to give up.
It was good. I give it an 8 But it's much better the original! When you hear "Last Resort" it's gonna be hard to associate it with the FIR version just 'cause the original version riff is unmistakable which marked a generation and a genre, my opinion..
Did you love this cover????? OMG
Loved your reaction video of it
This wasn't a cover of a song. This is a cover of Ronnie's Emotions. You can hear the hurt & the pain in every word in this song 🤘
Awesome cover
It wasn’t a cover it was reimagined
Mind Blown, such a powerful song and the lyrics hit even more now. BEAUTIFUL,💯
It was a great song from my childhood to this now turning into something more! mad isnt it
It takes the rage and despair and kicks up into the heartbreaking realm. An absolutely phenomenal version.
From "Teenage angst" to "Broken adult"
Papa roach sang this to the kids/teenagers we were and ronnie is singing to the adults we are now
Dude is just musically gifted with emotion
I agree! It puts the song in a new light for me
The way Ronnie re-imagined this song just allows it to hit different. So great!

I cannot fathom the mind that isnt BLOWN away by this version.
Didnt know i needed this in my life till now!!! Only ronnie can do this
it's a lovely video and his voice is soooo nice here!!!

@@chlooeeeexo For real! I have a terrible cold and to see that this morning made my day. Hate surprises but that one was great

I also had no clue they just come back off of a tour!! So it’s nice they paid homage to the boys with this!
@@chlooeeeexo They're about to start another tour called the Popular MONStour.

cant believe they did cover for last resort and i love it
Its so good, beautiful
@@chlooeeeexo so beautiful song
Same meaning. The original was also sad but people don't pay attention or listen to lyrics much.
I love this cover!!!! It definitely hits differently
I think the decision to opt for a crescendo, rather than a drop, is so reverent to the topic of suicide.
I want that Captain Spaulding pop figure D:
I have him tattooed on me Omg
It's a cover of Papa roach's song last resort
Yup!
Loving the baby doll of suckerpunch behind :) btw ur voice sounds like ur from ur Plymouth lol but I might be wrong
No way!! Thats awesome! Im from bristol haha
The babydoll is an old cosplay photo of me haha - a cardboard cutout

"I'm Running and i'm Crying"
:c
Hauntling beautiful.
Is the ending of the video supposed to be "watch the world burn" but (falling in) reverse?
think a lot of people have speculated this!!
I watched this because it said *cries*. False adv. Lame.
I did actually get teary :(
Honestly same all i heard was her replying to the chat 🙃😒
So you're cancelling her because she didn't cry her eyes out, that's lame.
All and all , this reaction was LAME ! Never gonna come back ! Stay well , bye !
@@Robert-ws3mk No, because of the clickbait title
