The story of, I was once lucky : So I was the imposter and people think I'm sus I was trying to make my self seem not sus and promise them a visual task. Everyone was following me so I went to shield knowing that I'm going to be dead so I just stood there near the shield and somehow the lights by the side turned on. I was shocked and so confused then realized that one of the ghosts I killed was also doing shields. After that people believe me and I wasn't on there sus list anymore😁
I recommend faking the “Start Reactor” task, because most people have times to struggle. And it is in the reactor where not that many people go in because it only has 2 tasks.
Or the calibration electrical thingie.....those 2 r really "hard" Because everyone has had them atleast once....and it's time consuming and frustrating
Also just to avoid suspicion You can do Shield task even if its already turned on, so don't sus the second person who did the shield task yet Only sus the First person who did that task but the light didnt turned on

Similar, if card swipe is the only common task, then anyone doing wiring is definitely faking it. I’ve caught so many imposters because of this.

The wrost moment is when you fake a task perfectly, as task bar updates at meetings, but someone does not know that, so they all vote you, even if you told them task bar updates at meetings. Same when you fake a visual task as visuals are off, and someone says you faked it as he do not know that visuals are off.

Fix wiring is a common task, meaning that if one person has is everyone has it. So when fixing wiring check if it is the common task. Common Tasks: Skeld: admin swipe, fix wiring MIRA HQ: admin code, fix wiring Polus: keys, boarding pass, admin swipe, fix wiring (There may be more, but the are definitely most common)
Just a tip: Don’t fake wires or swipe card unless one or both of them are in your fake tasks section because if u fake them and they are not the common task then ur screwed

I play in mobile and I'm a god at doing tasks. I do it really fast, I even know how to get the fast task for garbage. Except for Distributor and the Polus tasks. I can still do those, but I play on Mira HQ and aren't used to them.
I remember one time they sabotaged lights so I want straight to cameras without entering lights and then they asked me "so you passed lights withput enetering even though they were sabotaged?" and I was like "bitch, if you want to enter to be decapitated that´s YOUR problem"
pro tip: make sure no one is around you when your doing the download task in weapons. its on top of a vent and if someone sees you, they could be dumb, and get you voted out because you look like you just got out of a vent. or, you could stand right beside it.
small tip: make sure to check the settings when you're in the lobby, since some servers the task bar only updates at meetings, so in those cases it's safe to fake short tasks

Here's a quick tip: Never fake the admin upload task at the beginning of the game. No matter the download area, you can only upload data onto the admin panel. I literally watch someone do Upload and when they get off the task bar didn't move, this same person also do Navigation and task bar didn't move neither And later on when a body is found someone said that some task have multiple part.... In the Polus Map, i have caught 2-4 impostors for 4 rounds because of the key task. The rule of the key task is "If one has a key task, everyone has the key task", And literally someone decided to fake keys when their isnt a key task listed in the list xD.
Here's my personal experiences when it comes to tasks. When it comes to faking download task,The 1st part of the download task always start at the other parts of the map and the 2nd part always ends with admin(I tested it in freeplay 20 times as crewmate,download/upload task always ends up in admin but starts in other rooms with download task) so keep that in mind when faking the download task so you don't look sus or finding whos sus using that method. With the divert power,The 1st part always starts at electrical then later the other rooms with divert power so you wanna make sure to always go to electrical first if your alibi is ''I was doing divert power task'' and then your next alibi is go to the other rooms other than electrical with the other diver power tasks or you can use this method to rat out the impostor if you noticed them never going to electrical while claiming to be doing the divert powers task in the other rooms. With the wires task,I don't actually know if it's just a coincidence but wire tasks doesn't really have a pattern other than the 1st part of the task never starts at Security,It only starts in the other rooms as crewmate and I tested the wires like 30 times in freeplay yet it never starts at security so that may as well be useful in finding whos faking. With the align task,It's obvious by now at this point but you have to move from upper engine to lower engine or vice versa(it doesn't matter)when claiming you did align task.
With the wire task, it always starts in electrical or in storage then in admin then it's either in cafeteria, outside of navigation, or outside of security. So from my experiences these are the patterns: -Electrical then storage then either navigation, cafeteria or security -Electrical then admin then either navigation, cafeteria or security -Storage then admin then either navigation, cafeteria or security It might have more patterns but this is what I noticed (I might be wrong tho) With the align task, it doesn't matter where you start from. You can start from bottom to top or top to bottom. It doesn't matter
A random story: I was playing among us on discord with a few strangers and went to the medbay scan task and faked it right in front of blue I didn’t know visual tasks existed and I thought the medbay scan didn’t show up to other people like the other tasks but I was wrong And got voted out And learned a lesson
The opposite thing happened to me. Sometime ago I was playing as a crewmate and did the scan task (lots of people saw me) and they voted me later in the game because one of them said I was the impostor. Why I can't play with normal people? :(

Ikr. I was downloading in cafeteria and I saw yellow watching me and I was like, "This idiot's going to call a meeting saying I faked task because taskbar didn't go up." He did. He said I 'took too long' and taskbar didn't go up. I was like, "Dude, it's a multistep task and it takes a while." But no, yellow said I took ten seconds when it was only supposed to take five. Which is completely false. And I got voted out. And yellow wasn't even the impostor.

Tip: Find a long task (Reactor, Calibrate distributor, etc) Fake them as people know they are long, And wait for the average time of people to finish long tasks, The right time when a crewmate finished a task and the task bar goes up
I have a story that happens to everyone: I called an meeting then said can someone watch me scan pls? Everyone said nope but yellow said sure then when yellow came to the medbay I started scan in the middle yellow killed me and vented.
It's very important to mention that faking medbay is never a good idea, even with visual tasks off. Only one crewmate can do this task at a time and even with visual tasks disabled they can try to do it together with you, which will either confirm you as a crewmate and put them in a queue or oust you as an imposter if they don't get put into the queue.
i’mma leave this story just so people could learn from it: I was in security when this happened but Red reported a body in admin and claimed it was me. However, Brown and Blue saw me in cams not too long ago so their statement was quickly refuted but they diffused it by saying they must have seen a different color. So, as my sus was on Red, Black and I followed Red to left side. First, they did power diversion, where you just click the switch, in upper engine but the task bar didn’t go up. I was now incredibly sus but it could’ve been lag so I waited since I was safe with Black still there. Still following them, they went into reactor AND DID THE SAME POWER DIVERSION when I know you can only have that task once, in electrical and one random place. So I went to the button and got Red voted out. Remember kids. Only do certain tasks once. I mean, some people may be privy to it but I’d advise against making a habit of it since there are some people who do know this stuff.
Wires and download or any 2 or morw step tasks are very safe however keep this in mind if its a one common task game pay attention to if card swipe is the common task or not as wires is a common task. If card swipe is it never do wires
Tips : If someone observes you if you realy doing task make sure you sabotaged "Communications" so they cannot see if the bars move. And also dont go away after you sabotaged just wait 3 or more seconds to not spot you that you are impostor.

Here’s my thing: when you do your final fake task for like a three or two parter task, wait until the task bar goes up to leave the area to trick people into thinking you actually ARE a crewmate
and you can legit tell if someone is doing a medbay scan if another crew also has medbay. Just click on it (if u have that task that is) and if it says something like *WAITING for CORPSE to finish* then they are doing a legit scan

Another thing is, you can ask suspects what they were doing in admin (skeld) and comms (polus), note that you can only Upload data in those 2 places, if the suspect says that he was downloading there, he is the impostor. Ps: The little astronaut in upload data goes from the left (My tablet) to right (the room)
Oh and i forgot, the upload task is always the second one, which means if the suspect stands near the task and the task bar didnt go up, he 100% faked it and is the impostor.

Fun Fact: There's a Reactor:Divert Power Station in Reactor, on The Skeld but never is this tasked assigned, so if you see someone doing this supposed "task" report them immediately because it's not an actual task that can be interacted with. I've caught some imposters by just chilling in Reactor and watching that specific area
So, the visual task is not only the medbay scanner, the asteroid cleaner on weapons, the shields light and take the trash out in storage, but is the ones that you have to do for finish a task, cause the others can see the task bar and see if you actually made it, so watch out!

Yep, wires is a common task. You just need to see on the list if fake task so you know which common task to fake. For example if the list said :Admin: Swipe card, then you can safely fake card task. Wires: Storage(0/3) then you can safely fake wires.

Tip: On the Admin panel, impostors in the vent of a certain room will show up as being a person in that room. If you are in admin with one other person and see that there are three people in admin, walk out of the room and watch the vent animation in the shadow. When it opens, run into the room and catch the killer red-handed! Also, if you are being questioned about your location by someone on admin and you killed someone in a room and their body was never discovered, say you were in the room you killed them in because dead people also show up on admin.

I play in mobile and I'm a god at doing tasks. I do it really fast, I even know how to get the fast task for garbage. Except for Distributor and the Polus tasks. I can still do those, but I play on Mira HQ and aren't used to them.
I remember one time they sabotaged lights so I want straight to cameras without entering lights and then they asked me "so you passed lights withput enetering even though they were sabotaged?" and I was like "bitch, if you want to enter to be decapitated that´s YOUR problem"

pro tip: make sure no one is around you when your doing the download task in weapons. its on top of a vent and if someone sees you, they could be dumb, and get you voted out because you look like you just got out of a vent. or, you could stand right beside it.

Here's a quick tip: Never fake the admin upload task at the beginning of the game. No matter the download area, you can only upload data onto the admin panel. So if the game starts and you see somebody go to the admin upload panel, they're most likely the imposter. So never fake the admin upload task at the beginning of the game

I literally watch someone do Upload and when they get off the task bar didn't move, this same person also do Navigation and task bar didn't move neither

In the Polus Map, i have caught 2-4 impostors for 4 rounds because of the key task. The rule of the key task is "If one has a key task, everyone has the key task", And literally someone decided to fake keys when their isnt a key task listed in the list xD.

Here's my personal experiences when it comes to tasks.
When it comes to faking download task,The 1st part of the download task always start at the other parts of the map and the 2nd part always ends with admin(I tested it in freeplay 20 times as crewmate,download/upload task always ends up in admin but starts in other rooms with download task) so keep that in mind when faking the download task so you don't look sus or finding whos sus using that method.
With the divert power,The 1st part always starts at electrical then later the other rooms with divert power so you wanna make sure to always go to electrical first if your alibi is ''I was doing divert power task'' and then your next alibi is go to the other rooms other than electrical with the other diver power tasks or you can use this method to rat out the impostor if you noticed them never going to electrical while claiming to be doing the divert powers task in the other rooms.
With the wires task,I don't actually know if it's just a coincidence but wire tasks doesn't really have a pattern other than the 1st part of the task never starts at Security,It only starts in the other rooms as crewmate and I tested the wires like 30 times in freeplay yet it never starts at security so that may as well be useful in finding whos faking.
With the align task,It's obvious by now at this point but you have to move from upper engine to lower engine or vice versa(it doesn't matter)when claiming you did align task.

With the align task, it doesn't matter where you start from. You can start from bottom to top or top to bottom. It doesn't matter

I was playing among us on discord with a few strangers and went to the medbay scan task and faked it right in front of blue
I didn’t know visual tasks existed and I thought the medbay scan didn’t show up to other people like the other tasks but I was wrong

i find this hilarious cuz everytime im imposter, i dont even bother trying to fake tasks, but no one ever stops to think, "hey, black has just been running erratically around the map since the round started, and she's not doing any tasks"

It's very important to mention that faking medbay is never a good idea, even with visual tasks off. Only one crewmate can do this task at a time and even with visual tasks disabled they can try to do it together with you, which will either confirm you as a crewmate and put them in a queue or oust you as an imposter if they don't get put into the queue.

i’mma leave this story just so people could learn from it:
I was in security when this happened but Red reported a body in admin and claimed it was me. However, Brown and Blue saw me in cams not too long ago so their statement was quickly refuted but they diffused it by saying they must have seen a different color. So, as my sus was on Red, Black and I followed Red to left side. First, they did power diversion, where you just click the switch, in upper engine but the task bar didn’t go up. I was now incredibly sus but it could’ve been lag so I waited since I was safe with Black still there. Still following them, they went into reactor AND DID THE SAME POWER DIVERSION when I know you can only have that task once, in electrical and one random place. So I went to the button and got Red voted out.
Remember kids. Only do certain tasks once. I mean, some people may be privy to it but I’d advise against making a habit of it since there are some people who do know this stuff.

Another thing is, you can ask suspects what they were doing in admin (skeld) and comms (polus), note that you can only Upload data in those 2 places, if the suspect says that he was downloading there, he is the impostor.

Oh and i forgot, the upload task is always the second one, which means if the suspect stands near the task and the task bar didnt go up, he 100% faked it and is the impostor.

Imagine a guy running from one download task to another without even going to admin for upload.
So, the visual task is not only the medbay scanner, the asteroid cleaner on weapons, the shields light and take the trash out in storage, but is the ones that you have to do for finish a task, cause the others can see the task bar and see if you actually made it, so watch out!
Another tip: when u wanted to fake the shield task make sure that the visual tasks is off or the lights were on
if the light is on, then there is a short flash

Wait.. isn't wires a common task just like admin? So if one person has it everyone has it and if we don't have it, no one has it. My point is if the host put 1 common task and if wires isn't the common task then you'll be caught. I'm just giving information.
Yep, wires is a common task. You just need to see on the list if fake task so you know which common task to fake. For example if the list said :Admin: Swipe card, then you can safely fake card task. Wires: Storage(0/3) then you can safely fake wires.
@@zalkif1868 you always gotta look around, maybe it be the fake tasks list, the game settings throughly and also the admin map, so you get a better grasp on which area or room shud you go for your next kill.

Tip: Always save your visual tasks just in case someone blames you, just tell them to follow you to prove your a crewmate.

I was in MedBay with a guy.I was scanning in front of him.And I stopped scanning to do lag.He called meeting and Said i faked scan.Thank god I didnt voted out

if there's that one guy that watches people and clears them and if he's watching you do a task, you can sabotage comms so that way they don't know if you faked it or not
Tip: On the Admin panel, impostors in the vent of a certain room will show up as being a person in that room. If you are in admin with one other person and see that there are three people in admin, walk out of the room and watch the vent animation in the shadow. When it opens, run into the room and catch the killer red-handed! Also, if you are being questioned about your location by someone on admin and you killed someone in a room and their body was never discovered, say you were in the room you killed them in because dead people also show up on admin.

There were 0 long tasks and one guy started rector, I did emergency meeting on that guy, nobody got ejected tie. He never did that task ever again. Even if he was in rector. He was imposter. I called in him 4x. Omg!
Sometimes it's easier to say that they vented instead of saying that they are faking a task

Story:One day when i was an impostor along with somebody else and one crewmate said they had scan and you know what i did. Simple,Lock the door and kill black who was outside,and i ran,when the doors finnaly opened black was reported

one time when I was scanning in front of someone then the doors got locked he killed me but he tried to run away but then there was like the whole crew outside the door and he got voted out I don't know if he knew about vents though
actually, you can't fake wiring task all the time, because:
- If electrical appear, it always first place, so if u has faked wiring at other place and someone crew saw u, then u fake at electrical, definitly u will be the 200 IQ accuse
- If security appear, it always last, so if u fake security and leave when the bar didn't go up, u r very sus
- If the wiring task start at navigation, the order always is nav - cafe - security
the crewmates know a Trick to find the imposter tho

I met this guys who didn’t believe me when I said that the cameras can still see things perfectly fine when the lights go out. We forking argues for the next ten games about that topic.
I once vented withouth checking if the camera was on. It was. No one said anything tho.
The "Download Data" Task Is 6 Rooms.
Cafeteria, Weapons, Navigation, Communication, Electrical and last Admin.
Admin isnt download data, its upload data.

Do you want people to get caught as imposter? Admin is upload not download so if you see someone doing "download" in Admin first there most likely imposter as its upload not download
Tip: In reactor, there's a little accept diverted power task near the upper reactor sabotage-fix pad. That's a fake dummy task. If you're impostor, don't fake it. It's not real. If you're crewmate and see someone standing there, run for your life to the button.
