You can do it, but the engine is not happy at all and will suffer in time.
500.000km car, nothing suffered yet, driven ~20.000kms on veg.
Yes, i have 3engines spare, but not planning to use it in this car ;-)

@@marekminar4724 10kkm!! too much, PD engines need 8kkm max when on diesel, I would drop this to 6kkm or less running veg oil.
