That's right, but I find it easier to understand if I consider that the whole song is in 4/4. Just 16th notes in 11 groups of 5, and then 3 groups of 3. And the other part has an accent on the 8th pulse (which gives a 7/4 feel) and then an accent on the "a" of the 9th pulse (9/8 feel). Anyways, is how I see it, but you're obviously right.
Like others have said, it's 4/4. The groove is structured into 10 groups of 5/16 + one 6/16 + 3:2 polyrhythm to reset the loop at end of the fourth 4/4 bar. The math: 50/16 + 6/16 + 2/4(3:2)=64/16 or four bars of 4/4. Also, the solo starts two quarter notes early, starting where the 3:2 polyrhythm would happen (listen from 1:06). Also, the harmonic rate for the first half of solos is pretty unusual since it changes on the sixteenth note anticipation of beat 1 then beat 4 for every second bar like so: 𝄆 1 2 3 4 𝄀 1 2 3 (4) 𝄀 1 2 3 4 𝄀 1 2 3 4e&(a) 𝄇
