- In this episode of Railway Preservation Stories, we take a visit to the Derwent Valley Light Railway to speak to Tony and Glynnis Frith about the history of their locomotive; one of the Ruston & Hornsby shunters from the former Rowntree Chocolate factory in York. They tell us their story about the locomotive's return to York and its connection to York Normandy Veteran, Ken Cooke.
For more information on the Derwent Valley Light Railway and Rowntree No.3, visit dvlr.org.uk/
Many thanks to Tony and Glynnis Frith for speaking with us, and to everyone else at the DVLR for their support.
