People who didn’t get excited about Wednesday, to me are passive Celtic viewers rather than Celtic supporters. If you are a full blooded Celtic fan you should be on cloud nine.
People who think Celtic supporters aren’t real Celtic supporters because they don’t behave, feel or think the same way they do are a good laugh. Don’t you think it’s odd though to make up a fictional fan to then be annoyed by an attribute you’ve assigned to that fictional fan, to then say they aren’t a real fan? That’s what your opinion is based on, a fictional fan. A hypothetical. It’s actually a bit mental.
@@misterc5783 quite simple, if you didn’t come away from Celtic Park on Wednesday walking on air with a big cheesy grin then you are emotionally void. Time to be positive.
totally agree Hamish, this team is no doubt better than Ange's team, Ange's team was like playing a ten twenty-oner when you where a kid, very exciting but not much control, Brendan's style in my opinion is a far superior style of play especially for playing against better teams, Ange's style was too easily exposed by better teams, as Spurs are finding out just now, Ange's era was fun but dare i say it, i think we won a watch when he left and Brendan came back, HH
Great show as always. As everyone is saying that's the first time Celtic have given another champions league team a doin'. From the first 11 to the people coming off the bench each player played a big part 👏 It's been a long time since Celtic have won a european game with such a high scoreline...well done Celtic 🍀
We are defo far better placed to do something big. This was a turning point in order for the team & the club as a whole to grow. Now that we've been in the UCL 3 seasons on the trot, we must make this the norm. That's the *only* way the Club will elevate to a new level. There will never again be any cuts or forced sales for only making the Europa. The wage bill can then be restructured (in accordance with FFP) because we are consistently rich, and we can keep good teams together for longer, giving us a better chance of progression. The way forward will always be qualification for UCL, every single season.
Getting excited and “high” about Wednesday’s display is understandable and, to a degree, justified. That said I, for one, prefer us to keep our feet on the ground and wait to see how the team continues to (hopefully) grow and develop. If, come January we’re in top 24 of CL table and are looking good for SPL title playing with the same panache and control as in recent weeks, then I might be persuaded to rate the team up alongside the previous iterations you mentioned. Here’s hoping. 🍀🍀🍀
From day one from Rodgers I was excited to see what he could do with this set of players. Listening to Joe Hart saying the way Rodgers managed the team has proved me right for a change
The best thing about winning 5-1 is the fact that if bratislava came up against the likes of Dortmund, Liepzig or Atalanta they probably would've got pumped 4,5,6-0. So that's like us showing that we're on a different level. A whole different level. Remember the days we'd struggle against your AIK's, Cluj, Malmo ect, I think Slovan are around the same level as they clubs and we made shirt work of them this time. That's a statement win for me.
The way things are going domestically, it looks like we're heading for another invincible season....imagine Edit so I'm not commenting 3 times: Rodgers has brought out a quality in Daizen Maeda that I never knew existed. His technical ability this season compared to last is unrecognisable.
Think I could tolerate defeats against Dortmund and Atalanta as long they’re not a scudding. Goal difference could be crucial so we need to be savvy on the game management front and shut up shop if the points are gone….
We are so dangerous on the break, and against these better quality teams we are gonna get chances. I sense we may get something from these two away games.
The only real test is going to be dortmund and Atlanta other teams haven’t been much of a challenge including rangers, I’d be happy if we got 1 point from the dortmund or Atlanta game. HH
Bhoys calm down the 5-1 is just like the sevco beating ross-county 6-0 and for the penalty taker it wont be to long b4 the dummy run to put the goalie the wrong way gets sorted out by the rest of the goalie's if they are smart enough to figure that out for themselves. stay calm and keep your over hyper opinions to a safe distance for now so you don't fall to far from embarrassment when it hits you in the face. HAIL HAIL.
One of my favourite European memories was playing Sporting Lisbon in 1983 , we were 2- 0 down from the first leg in Lisbon , so all the gloom merchants like you stayed at home and all the true supporters turned up at paradise and sang ourselves hoarse in the jungle ……. we won 5- 0 !

WER HAVIN A PARTY IN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE🎶🇮🇪🎵
If we take care of business at Celtic Park in the CL, we don’t need any points away. It’s a great position to be in.

Lots of people online calling Engles “Arnit”
Is his name “Arney” or “Arnit”
😊
Arn-uh

Happy days are here again after decades of penny pinching when the only aim was to better the mediocre and moribund SevCo. 🎉🎉🎉
We only paid about 2 .something million for petrov I’m sure
Yeah was like £3m
Had it in my head it was £5m-£6m for some reason due to the hype around it!
Well drink ta tht wow😮😮😮
Celtic will be ok here on now in CL....
It’s not a bad angle 😂
2.2m Petrov cost as I recall
Yeah dunno why I thought it was way more than that! Blame it on my age!
Engels = Rolls Royce
Thanks
