Hey, Peanut. I use John as my financial adviser. I go and look at the price of sausages every week to see whether the prices of "everything" have risen or fallen. They use to fluctuate every day, but the devs changed it to every week now. Probably a little more realistic, but I got used to the daily fluctuations. I would wait to buy or sell until the "market" was where I wanted it. It was much easier to do when the prices changed daily. Now it takes "forever" for the prices to reach the highest or lowest when you want to conduct business. Thanks for the vid. Always wanted to know which vegetable was the most profitable. Too lazy to do the tests. Thumbs up!
I have noticed John has about a 2 week cycle on his prices from high to low to high again and I think the day that you did your sale to him was his best price day. I just finished season one (just got the game this month) so my greenhouse yields are limited for testing but Italian Tomato Soup tops out at $14.59 and Zucchini Soup $11.52 are his best prices. Cooked Eggs and Condensed Milk top out at $9.59 and Applesauce comes in a penny higher at $9.60. There also seems to be a rotation on prices when buying equipment, building supplies, greenhouses, silos, seeds and field costs as well as the selling of grains to the Old Mill/Market that I started tracking but the list is incomplete. Right now I'm waiting for the price to drop on the Custom FV tractor to $60800 and the Fliegl DK-180 to $14400 as those are the best prices.
Great vid! I’ve tried doing this on my own and always get so confused. 😝 I’m sure you know this but the days that John isn’t offering much for your stuff, are the best days to buy your sausages for Rex. If you are patient you can stock up on sausages for about 1.50 each. I never buy them if they are over 1.60 just bc if you wait they will go back down. Not trying to be a know it all, just so wanted to share in case someone reading this may not know that part. 😄
Man. Your channel grows very fast lately. Good job man. Keep those vids coming.

I am to lazy and just use the market on the map.....I hardly ever visit John any more.
@@peanut1 Yea, tried doing that, but apparently the grain market will change when the "regular" market prices don't. Really confusing some times.
