Our hearts and love to Fear & Lee Ving. I will never forget finding "The Record" for 25 cents. The seller at that dirty charity sale/ thrift dump / make-shift flea market thing had no "sense". lol THERES TOO MANY OF US!!♥
He's 1 of THE best! & he was influenced by THE most underrated rock legend , the late Dennis Wilson; the dude that made me wanna pick up the sticks. 🎼 🥁 🇺🇲
Fun Facts: during Let's Have a War instead of the lyrics "give guns to queers" he sings "give guns to children" and during I Don't Care About You he doesn't sing "Fuck You" not once.
This is VERY COOL brother thank you! I am one of the original Sacto Skins. (sacramento skinheads) and FEAR The record was what drew me in. After listening to this version I have to say as much as I like this demo version it wouldn't have had the same effect on me and I have to say there would probably be a couple hundred people that would not have gotten their asses stomped into the ground. Live and learn huh! To all of the people that I may have offended and hurt along the way I would like to make you breakfast... A BIG BOWL OF DEZ NUTS!!! LMAO Long Live Generation X...
I turned pat stratford from Tales of Terror onto this album when I found it... we were sitting in Ken's Coloma parking lot drinking beer smoking clove cigarettes and spitting on people... ahhh the good old days.
I hope FEAR is done playing.. L.A. punk rock kings but seeing Lee in his 70s playing these songs just doesnt work. And i am someone who saw FEAR back in the day 80s not 90s!
For me, there's probably only two Punk records that really matter. One is never mind the Box by The Sex Pistols and the other is Fe ar the record, not to be confused with the fear record.
@@bleaaarghh yeah....no wars, pro-gay marriage, anti-wall street and a bunch of peace deals in the middle east...not exactly yer typical conservative...but they didnt have a candidate to beat Killary. now you have the national guard rolling around dc, and talk of secret police. punk!

@Adriel Rocco yea, I have been watching on flixzone} for years myself :D
Thank you so much for posting this. Never heard this demo before. I'm going to see Fear in about an hour with Lee Ving and Tim (spit Stix).
Can't see FEAR live anymore. There is something you can't recapture from the 80s. To see them now is just a sad reminder of how old we all are.
Absolutely. Some things better left alone.
this is a rare nugget of punk gold.
i appreciate the share.
Cool. Wish I had this original pressing.
Split stix one of the most underrated drummers
Powerful and very hard playing
He's 1 of THE best! & he was influenced by THE most underrated rock legend , the late Dennis Wilson; the dude that made me wanna pick up the sticks. 🎼 🥁 🇺🇲
I didn't know Spit Stix was Lee's brother. I remember talking to Spit backstage at Clutch Cargo's
in Detroit in 1982. Really nice guy.

Thanks to the now defunct 97X for bringing this band to my attention way back in the 80s.
