Lovely card as always! I want to let you know how sorry we are about the devastating fires that are going on in Australia. Our thoughts and Prayers are with all the people of that beautiful land.
I love your card. Gorgeous. Your sister will love it. I hope you and your family are staying safe in Australia during your horrific fire season. My heart goes out to everyone there . Big hugs 🤗 from California. Cannot wait till your next project . 😍😍😍
I was surprised at how easy it came together myself. Thanks so much for your lovely visit here today Ardyth, I hope you had a great New Year and that 2020 is amazing!
Fabulous card, and happy birthday wishes to your sister - I'm sure she loved this card. YOU make it look so easy...I think this will be a "work" in progress process for me, lol.
Well aren't you clever. Awesome card, so very lovely. I've been planning to make a tunnel card to, after watching Jennifer, because the look so amazing. That owl just looks great. The colouring is so good. Cheers Lisa
Sometimes it feels like a little bit of rambling lol. There is always so much more to say, but it does make it easier with the visual aspect of UA-cam I think. I prefer learning by watching. Thanks so much yet again my friend x
Happy New Year! Great card Therese. Your sister will love it. It has everything. It’s very pretty, it’s cute, it’s personalised and of course it’s made with love. Stay safe. ❤️
I had a lovely time with my family at Christmas, too much of everything (and not much card making lol). Looking forward to getting back into the swing of things.
At present I don't think that I can share it elsewhere, but did you know that you can watch Instagram IGTV on your home computer? It will look small initially but if you click on the little square in the lower right corner then it will open up to full screen. You can find the link the video at my blog which is linked in the video description. I do hope this helps and if I find another way to share I will definitely let you know. Thanks so much for your lovely visit Pam!
So super cute this card, Your sister wil have a "hoot" with , hihihi!!! How is everything there? The news reports about the fires in your country are so disturbing. My thougts are with you and all the people of Australia.
I totally think it's worth the money, but of course not essential. I make my own card bases so actually use it all of the time, I think if I bought pre-made bases it wouldn't be as important. It definitely works without adding shine or marks along the paper folds which was something that would annoy me. Though I would rate tools like the MISTI 'more essential'... is that such a thing lol.
Darn! I thought great , she's an Aussie so she'll use our size card... Why aren't you?? Because you're following Jennifer ? Can I still use our size with those scores??
hahaha I used to always use Australian A4 cardstock but now that I can get Neenah here in Australia I've started using that instead because I like the fact that I can match my white cardstock in both 110 and 80lb versions. I would have to play with the dimensions to adjust it to the Australian size (these scores in the video would not work) but even if I had our size cardstock I would probably still just cut it down and start with 2 the same size as the US size instead (just because it's easier and the math is already done lol).
@lostinpaper but our size is 8 1/4 so we can't cut that down. I have been wanting to get the 11x8 1/2card to use with dies I have from the US. Where do you get your card from please. Thanks for the reply. If you could work out the scores that would be fabulous. Thanks so much 💕💖
@@marcellebaldwin4036 I would probably just cut down 2 pieces of cardstock to make it out of our size A4 and then use the 'left over' pieces to stamp out images on as scraps. But I will definitely try and work out the sizes and let you know... but it does involve math, not my strong point lol. There are a few places that sell Neenah in Australia now, but they are not always in stock, so I buy it by the ream (eek, but it's worth it to me and I do use quite a lot of it) My fave place is from Auzz Trinklets n Krafts (this one is an affliliate link so if you prefer not to use that just google Auzz Trinklets to find it) atcraft.com.au/brand/neenah/?ref=6 Craft Online www.craftonline.com.au/collections/vendors?q=NEENAH&sort_by=created-descending and Scrapbook Boutique www.scrapbookboutique.com.au/search?type=product&q=neenah Hope this is helpful ps the 110 is very heavy weight and perfect for card bases but I prefer to colour and fussy cut and use the 80lb for most everything else.
Hi Marcelle, I've added some measurements at my blog and you should be able to download to image and you can find the link to the post here lostinpaper.com/2020/01/05/how-to-make-a-fun-inside-tunnel-card-video/. Hope this helps

Yes, I was surprised at just how flat it folded and could still fit in the envelope!
Wow! It seemed complicated until I saw it come together - what a fabulous card for a milestone birthday!

Wonderful tutorial, Therese! And that owl is just adorable--I'm sure your sister loved the card!
She adores anything with owls, so I couldn't possibly go wrong, especially when the owl is this cute lol.
Fantastic...never mind the 50 on the front... your sister will love this card!!! ❤❤❤
Thanks so much Pri, she likes anything 'owl' related so I should be safe lol.
I'm going to have to try one of those tunnel cards. It is so unique and cute with that owl, Therese.
Thanks so much Bobby, it was easier than I thought, but JM tutorial was easy to follow along!
@@lostinpaper I saved the tutorial so I can make one when my hand is ready to cooperate.
Therese I just love watching your techniques.
Thanks so very much Bonnie!

So fun and pretty!
Question: is the Teflon bone folder really worth it to you? TIA :)

are you ok are you in Australia. thank you for this card tutorial
We are safe and feeling very lucky to be so, thanks so much for your thoughts x
1:56 Watching you score, I just realised that these score boards are actually better suited for left-handed people ;)
Yes you are probably right... lol. I am very right handed, maybe they need to make 2 versions! Thanks so much for your visit and lovely comments Debi!
Don't think I'll try to make this card, too complicated for me. I do love it though.
How are you faring with all the fires?? My heart goes out to all. Please stay safe.
It's devastating! Thanks so much for your kind thoughts, we are all good here, much luckier than so many.
Very cool card. I wish I could rub-in my sister's age. I'm 8 years older though. I do give my older brother a hard time. Such fun! hahaha
I am older than her but decided to rub-it-in anyway lol.
@@lostinpaper you're funny! When my sister turns 60 I'm going to rub it in. lol
