@@melgrant7404 Of course, this is easier for her than for me or for you, but you can see she is a hard worker. I've seen other famous rich people trying to have their fashion brand (Paris Hilton for example, who has more money than VB) and they have not achieved what she has done in only 10 years. VB takes it very seriously.
It is very easy to say: "it is only money", but there is more behind that success. Having a good team is not enough...
Laura N tbh I’m a bit gutted as I’ve always admired her drive. However, so much is said by her and her husband about the values they’re raising their children to have. Hard work, ‘treating others properly’, being polite etc. But it has to be said that sometimes what she says in interviews doesn’t translate to their actions as a couple. Brooklyn getting a book deal at sixteen and a Burberry campaign at seventeen with no formal training is quite frankly sidestepping hard work and using your family contacts. Having your kids sixth bday party at Buckingham Palace was kind of obscene as well. Buckingham Palace is not Thorpe Park and shouldn’t be used as such. It’s paid for by us all for state events and our royal family that bring in revenue for the country. Not for rich people’s kids to have princess parties. David’s leaked emails calling the honours board the C word, demanding a knighthood for his charity work. Who demands pay back for charity work when you’ve been so incredibly blessed??? That’s what we all should be doing, looking out for those less fortunate and most vulnerable. Today, David getting off the speeding ticket. He should have paid the fine like the rest of us would have had to and apologised. The law should apply to us all equally and those that try and buy their way out of it, because they have a lot of money, shouldn’t feel comfortable with doing that. There’s no way, given how verbally supportive V is about David that she didn’t know about those decisions. So the next time she’s interviewed and talks about how her and David are raising their children to be nice people, hard workers etc I’m not sure it will resonate in the same way. Breaking the law then paying to get off are not values any kid should be taught, especially not by their parents. It’s disappointing.

1. I only compare her to other famous rich people who have tried the same and did not succeed. Money is not always the key as we can see.
2. If you want to look for incongruences in her speech, perfect. But don't forget all of us (you and me as well) are incongruent many times in our life. Every single day. It seems we only find incongruences in other's lives...

I like her. She seems to have changed as the years went by. She seems more relaxed and approachable and happy. Would like to see more of her collections going mainstream in the stores
Love her clothes, they are tailored at the right spot on your body. Never water down your brand like others, such as other designers have. Keep the quality. Also, love how she has the tailors cut patterns with enough seam material to expand the breast portion, since many of us have implants - making our tops not in proportion with our waist.

"When people tell you no, you say actually yes"... Yeah, that seems to work out well for rapists. This is terrible advice, and probably a really bad thing to say to women, of whom 1 out of 6 have been sexually assaulted. We should never be teaching anyone that "no means yes" in any context.

The thing is she's not talking about "any context", they're talking about work and personal projects in life. It is about the relation with oneself. Nothing to do with the relations with people. And I find it a good advice.
Beckham will always simply be, an ex-spice girl and wife of David Beckham. She's not a designer and will never be considered as one!
