Broks’s entire funeral still gets me all teary. Rest in eternal peace you magnificent blue bastard.
Hahaha 😆
Sadly though he can't rest in peace, because his soul is in pieces, just like Oden's soul after Sindri destroyed the "ball thing"
@@steveardila7651 so uh…. Rest in pieces? 😢
@@kenouk6183 Wake On Pieces 😔
@@steveardila7651 wdym by pieces?
I know it's hoping against hope, but if Kratos and Freya could begin to heal from all their pain, maybe Sindri could find it in his heart to forgive Atreus. Brok wouldn't have wanted him to live like this.
Problem is he has to blame Atreus, because when he sees past his hate, he can only blame himself. For what he done to Brok, no afterlife.
@@jonh387Yeah but Brok forgave him and that'll hopefully make him realize that he doesn't have to live with regret anymore. It won't be easy and make take a long time but it's possible.
@@grizzakaful Yes I hope so but he is in a a state of denial. Even though Brok forgave him, he doesn't care anymore. Cause all he wanted in the end is just to be with him.
@@jonh387 It’s been said that is just how he chooses to grieve his brother, which most of the cast respects. He’ll eventually move past blaming other people, and himself, for a mistake that only has Odin to blame.
@@jonh387 It's actually worse than that if you find the real Tyr because he'd be able to blame both himself and Atreus. They both were looking for Tyr in secret initially giving Odin an easier time to trick them. That's the reason why when you meet Sindri at the forge he starts blaming himself more for the fact everything happened in his home. For the fact that even he was so blind to Tyr that his brother died when anyone else could've started asking questions. He gave the time he could've spent by his undead brother's side to Atreus. All to help figure out who Loki was gonna be and where Tyr was located. To close off your heart to pain and suffering means not understanding how Sindri feels. So they likely didn't feel it was right to mourn Brok if they sacrificed people to kill Odin. Sindri shows that he's closing off his heart during Ragnarok if anything. Which is why he noticeably becomes more and more distant and on edge. Part of that is having to endlessly think about the battle and the fact his brother is dead. When emotions and feelings are closed off it creates a deep black hole there seems to be no escape from. That's the hole Sindri has in his heart and begins to recognize lies under Kratos' exterior. The same thing that Kratos constantly held onto without saying anything. Expecting that his son will learn from him and learn not to become consumed the rage of vengeance. Sindri knows that he's consumed by it and can't really go back. Which is the look he gives Kratos as he has to start all over just as the God of War has done.
37:44 Brok's "WTF" was so real
Nobody bothered to tell brok that Atreus can turn into an animal 😂😂
Kratos: Sindri what the hell are you doing to mimir-
Brok: *starts laughing his ass off*
Kratos: nevermind, he's safe...
He speaks plain

@@user-kr9cg5vc8v and now i don the bag of shame upon my head! i deserved that!
37:47 this is the best use of that good old F bomb in this entire game. (Apart from mimir’s reaction to garm’s release.) That expression of disbelief is very fitting for Brok, and I personally find it amusing in a scene so serious.
Yeah that one is also pretty good.
1:08:09 - There is merit to this one too.
42:55
I miss both of them. The Sindri we knew is gone with Brok too 😭
It's almost like sindri was telling Atreus that if he went to sleep that he would find "what he's looking for" almost like he knew what he had to do to go to ironwood
I feel like Sindri may have been close enough to Faye to know that's how to get to Ironwood. It would also explain why he took to Atreus so much if he was close enough friend to his mother
Brok and Sindri's affection for Atreus just make their story the more tragic
Who gets the feeling that brok and kratos became true homies during this game
57:58 The Lighting in this scene is just perfect.
wow youre right, its like Odin is lurking in the shadows
Mmm. That lighting is some goooood shit.
All characters in this game are so well written, designed, animated and voiced.
It's hard to imagine the insane work they've done and I hope it got the success it deserved to prove once again that narrative games have value when done right.
Agreed.
Agreed. Totally.
Brok dropped the most exquisite of F-bombs. From the "What tha fuk!?", when Atreus turned into a bear. To the "think the fuk again!", when the realm doorway wouldn't work properly. Absolutely exquisite!
Don't forget "all-fucker"
Brok saved them all. Had them proceeded with Odin's deception....😞
Damn that ending though..💔
I really wish it didn't end like that. Sindri is a good man. It hurts to see him so alone and broken.
it wouldn't be God of War without tragedy; Greek or Norse.
I want to hope, really hope, that Sindri will be able to move on from this, forgive Atreus and apologize for how he treated everyone in this darkest moments after Brok's death. The last thing I want is to see him become consumed by rage. And eventually killed.
It might be hopeless, but like Pandora says, Hope is all we have left to fight for when all else is lost.
Sindri….need not apologise for being in pain at losing his only blood family left.
@@XperimentalOdin But I do agree with you it is also his fault as well. He's not the total victim here.
He needs to grieve alone, Everyone understands that Odin fooled all of them so i hope in the future he will accept that too as well.
Looking back with these scenes is giving me parallels of Brok and Sindri's relationship from every character. The way there are rifts forming and bonds mending for every character. It just makes a bigger hole because I can only imagine what the dwarven brothers have been through leading to their assistance in both games. Freyr mourning Freya makes me think about Brok before being revived. The arguments remind me of how they were at odds in the game before.
Where did all these feels come from and why can't I hold them?
Damn brok went out a true *G*
Am I the only one who loves the chemistry (meaning friendship) that Sindri and Atreus have? As much as I love Brøk I also like Sindri because he helps Atreus even though it went against what Kratos would've said.
I remember the intense hatred I felt after Brok died. Before Odin seemed like a douche but from that point on I wanted him flayed.
Yeah I had some Odin-must-be-drawn-and-quartered feelings my damn self.
circle button appears over Odin's head
I felt so dumb
Brok's death is to GOW as Yondu's death is to GOTG both were devastating losses
And blue.

4:17 MY FAVORITE COMEDY SEQUENCE!!!
4:22 hearing brok laughing cracks me all the time 😆🤣😂😹
Mimir's personal torture device🤣🤣
22:05-22:40 bro I really miss the good old Sindri and their friendship with Atreus. I wish it doesn't stay like what forever... 😔💔
I DO NOT NEED A SNACK -Kratos
Kratos' stole all of Sindri's crackers when "Tyr" asked for something to eat. Sindri blamed it on the squirrel. 😂
My favorite part will always be any time they get the chance to sit around the table, big or small, and share a good meal. 15:16
Brok and sindri are Atreus’s uncles 😂😂😂😂
I dubbed them godfathers but who cares they were awesome.
39:15
Tyr (who is actually Odin in disguises, spoilers) seems pissed here, which is some good foreshadowing for his eventual reveal.
Frl he was always tryna like comprise their plans or try to blowmind them out of it
Playing house with dwarves seems fun
There's something I deeply wish Kratos would've done during the funeral, although it would've impacted the gameplay mechanic, which is giving Draupnir back to Sindri. It was the final weapon for a god that Brok helped make, and it even had his blessing. Maybe in the next game ... if there is gonna be one within Norse mythos, now that Odin is dead.
that would’ve been nice but that would set back kratos character development plus brok would want kratos to keep the spear plus kratos would keep it as a reminder of who brok was and how good of a friend he is
@@bangoouygi6372 Whew, novel incoming, sorry in advance haha
I'd agree, had it not been for the quote "It is the nature of a thing that matters. Not it's form.", a quote from Brok that Kratos would later remember. Also, parts of Brok's blessing was that it was to be put down when its job was done, and its job was essentially done when Odin was no more. I agree that Draupnir was a vital part to Kratos character development, but I would still say the words he received, the scenarios that occured throughout the game, and the lessons he was indirectly taught both as a warrior, as an ally and as a father, was a larger part of said character development.
That's why I feel like Draupnir should be given back to Sindri. Sindri was never told those words from Brok (at least not to our knowledge), and furthermore, Sindri was very attached to Draupnir. So it could serve as him getting both of the things he loved back, albeit to some degree; the ring he was reluctant to hand over, and a final memory of Brok.
I'm surprised brok didn't say anything about how stupid it was for freyr and his group to try to kill kratos. Something like " hey do you know this pasty fool right here and his sack-seed killed 3 aesir, a dragon, and every kind of monster that lives in the nine realms?"
I love these two to the very end🥺❤️❤️
Santa Monica REALLY had to twist the knife for him not having an Afterlife
I’m glad someone said it.. cause no afterlife at all? they hate us. 💔
Yea but it what make this game so good. It make us feel for these characters that isnt NPCs. This game is awesome
Oh man I cracked up so much when Brok just threw that dish tray.
i love how brok treats kratos and atreus
Brok and Kratos’ dialogue towards each other is always funny
I gotta say, Raeb’s lament is probably the best character theme I’ve heard since Regicide from destiny. Catchy and fitting to the character, plus the last time it plays in Ragnarok it has the emotional twist…
Sindri fiddling with Atreus’ bow is my favorite scene for some reason. Maybe I just like watching him work…?
“Ah, if these cobblestones could talk…. Then they’d have mouths…. Filthy disgusting mouths”
Something about Tyr was off to me before finding out he was Odin
When brok sees Atreus again the first time after he grew up 2:36 🥺
A hole gets bigger the more you take away.
And the way brok bends his back when he sees Atreus oh man that was funny
they come into this man's home, invited out of pure charity. all they're asked is to wipe their feet
do they wipe their feet. no, of course not
Sindri is the true victim of all this
0:23 that matrix punch
Did my guy brok dirty
Kratos: "I do not need a snack."
Freya: **sighs**
Kratos? Snack?
I d o n o t n e e d a s n a c k 👺
3:15 LOL!
5:00 ayo mimir on that machine was a foreshadow of him having a body in the next game or soon
I hope so. He deserves a new body.
Plus, he might be able to help out Kratos more if he had hands to work with.
@@FeliDJrah i hope its not because lets imagine this for a second
in a single area there is
1. Kratos
2. Atreus/Freya
3. mimir
4. enemies
i think it would be overcrowded and if you remove number 2 i dont think its a good idea
ACTUALLY YOU KNOW WHAT
1. no kratos
2. Atreus/freya
3.mimir
4. enemies
I could imagine this as a small part of the game
I don't see a reason why he can't do what Heimdall did with his arm..create a bifrost body.
Really wish if we have a future game that is focus as Artreus we can have Sindri back forgiving him and forging him weapons. Really wouldn't mine if a game focus on Artreus and set in Japan.
I love how all these characters would be fun to hang out with, and not just because im lonely

The dinner scene was nice tho
8:44 Kratos in his thought "Mhmm, Feels Familiar cource of Light"
11:56 I never realized Sindri was talking about Atreus eyes
I also used it for light 💡 😅
I think Jourmee definitely said "You'll be there", Atreus probably thinks it's a word he doesn't understand since he doesn't respond to it. Also, he says it after Atreus says "What is that?"
To me it sounded like Jormungandr said "You'll find out"
Brok and Sindri legendary duo
Damn a dwarve in grief. i guess it would take him millennia to finally move on.

I was thinking same thing. You guys need to take tyr somewhere and then ditch him

Odin, he legit used the dwarves and forced them to make weapons atreus didn’t use anybody

why does it feel like even though odin is impersonating Tyr, it's like you see bits of him talking through him? like the real him? a broken man except unlike tyr he couldn't accept what he's become?
You know, all the crafting and engineering improving weapons, armor, and travel by using materials based around or literal magic is how they advance in their realm. All we have is boring ass science and tech. I wish I had the option to have bifrost instead of a bicycle.
❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
What do they mean by Brok having "lost his sense of direction" part of his soul?
a soul's direction is what allows it to find its way to its designated afterlife, whether it's the Lake of Souls in Alfheim, Helheim (those who die dishonorably, including from disease or old age), Valhalla or Fólkvangr (those who died in battle)
when Sindri pulled Brok's soul out of the lake of souls to revive him, he failed to get Brok's direction leaving him with only three quarters of his soul. when Brok dies again, his incomplete soul can't reach the lake of souls, in Mimir's words; "(Brok's) not only dead, he's been denied an afterlife. there's nothing TO bring back"
@@neo-warkid4edwards222 That makes things even worse :’’’’(
@@imaplaygames633 I know, and it brings back the full emotional weight of death and loss in a franchise that has several different after-lives and where its main character has died and come back to life more than once.
at least Calliope is in Elysium, Brok is just... gone, forever
Sindri has NO RIGHT to blame ANY 1 ELSE other than Odin for Brok's demise!!!
