  • If you're not sure what eGive is on your FK Irons tattoo machine, look no further. FK Pro Team artist Lola (aka Glitterpoops) explains what eGive is, how it can be helpful for tattoo techniques and styles, and how she uses it during her tattoo sessions.
    The PowerBolt II wireless battery from FK Irons, first seen on the Flux Max, features improved eGive functionality. You can leave it off or select from 3 levels of give.
    1 = Low Give/More Needle Penetration. 2 = Medium Give/Medium Needle Penetration. 3 = High Give/Softer Needle Penetration.

    I am so very confused now.. I watched a video that basically explained that no give (more like a direct drive) is better for black and grey as it actually has less sit time in the skin so makes smaller holes which creates a smoother gradient... AHHH!!

    Would you recommend a 0 give even for fine line tattoos?

    Hey, thanks for the video. I have been using Fk irons xion for years but it had a real give. Do you think is this a good alternative to xion?

      I had the same questions myself, I love my xion give, you can definitely feel the difference,than I started using the exo 4 stroke and I was wandering how e give was going to work using the dark lab app but apparently the newer fk machine has the e give built-in n it is configured through the app, I was skeptical at first but after a few days I was blown away at how well it worked.

    I'm looking at buying one of these soon but I've got a question I'm hoping you can help me with. I have a "cheap" pen that has a 3.5 stroke and actually tattoos okay compared to your machines. If I want to run one machine to do soft realism and bold traditional flash which machine would you recommend? My guess would be the 4mm and run it really soft? Or the 3.2 and run it hard?

      Get you a power wand packer bro!! It’s a 4.2 stroke you get smooth single pass lines it’s great for pepper shading and pretty good at smooth black and gray and it packs color amazingly. Feels amazing in the hand with a shorter profile the weight is pretty even as well.

      Machine voltage/speed depends on your hand speed.
