Hey Justin, a quick question if you have the time. Just to make sure I understood correctly. I opened Amazon affiliate accounts for different countries, I was automatically assigned new tracking IDs for each store and I connected them all to my main Amazon affiliate account in One Link, which is my US account. Do I need to go and generate new affiliate links for all of the products I am promoting, or will old links now automatically work to capture international traffic and credit me for sales? Thanks

Hey Justin, what about Australian Amazon Influencers such as myself. Do we have to sign up for both the US and Australian Affiliate programs? If it's US we only get paid in gift cards too.
If you want to earn commissions from USA then yes, you'll want to register for that affiliate program too. You can use TransferWise to get $ back into your AUD bank account with minimal fees

I'm in Canada and I remember that years ago I thought I should sign up for affiliate programs in other countries. But I discovered that you have to get three purchases through that program and something like three months, or they won't let you into the program. I couldn't do it when I tried it in Australia. So I'm still only with Canada and the U.S. Have you found that you had to do that for every country?

I wrote and self published a book series on Amazon, I am the author and the owner of the rights to the content in the books. Can I pin links in my UA-cam videos to take my viewers to the pages to buy my books? Or is that a breach of terms and services agreement? I have read the terms and services agreement a couple times and cannot find any information noting that it is either allowed or will potentially be a strike on my channel. I would rather know this information for fact before I pin the links in the description boxes to avoid the chance of a negative outcome.

I think you mean the Amazon influencer program. You have to apply and you don't get in until you have a large enough following 😏 Then you get your own affiliate shop on Amazon.

There's a lot of things they'll close your account for that they don't cover in terms of service unfortunately. Like for example if you link on a social media platform with less than 500 followers/subscribers. You can't ask people to purchase and you MUST have a line that says "as an amazon affiliate, I earn on qualifying purchases". It has to say exactly that or you could get booted. Not having anything will get you booted too. I had a nice hour long phone call with Amazon support to go through everything I was "doing wrong" when my account was closed down the first time.
Hi Justin, do you have any info on applying for the Amazon affiliate program in regards to the tax section, they are asking for either an ABN if your a registered business that’s fine but if you don’t they require a statement by supplier form. Just wanted to know if you have come across this before? Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. Love your channel, thank you 😊
I’ve never filled in a statement by supplier form.. but if you’re in Aus, it’s free and pretty quick to register for an ABN. Just note though that any income here is treated as regular income so you’ll need to declare it on your tax return
I've found your kits great! In New Zealand though, Amazon isn't so big and a lot of things won't ship here. In the last year I've only purchased one thing from Amazon
A redirect link is awesome because if you end up changing the Amazon link then you only have to change it on the redirect link (so in one location) instead of on every video that you have used that link on 👍 hope that makes sense!

We haven't had great success with OneLink, GeniusLink works a lot better, that's what we use.
