People hate on this game and for decent enough reasons, there are a lot of stylized hero shooters just flooding the market and I’m frankly sick of them. But, people also can’t recognize a quality product when blinded by over saturation. gunplay is smooth, sound design is great, it’s well optimized and fast paced, and it’s consistent with its UI and HUD art styles. It’s fun.
@@SexManNordin You ever played any game other than Valorant ? This is the opposite of a clone, they made a game with the concepte of a tactical shooter (planting defense) with the gameplay of a modern game, Valo is a clone of Cs BECAUSE IT TAKES EVERY OLD MECHANICS CS HAD SINCE 9 NOVEMBER 2000.
Being able to choose a buff after each round if you have not died is insaneee. Kind of feels like a rogue like in that sense, adds a ton to replayability.
I like it's style, it's seems unique even though this format has been used several times but you can see it worked for them so I'm curious to see how this holds up

It seems like a fusion of Apex and Valorant. Cool concept for a way to play this genre though. The card system is unique and a way to freshen up each round. But the rng for card pools certainly seems like it could play a part in balance. And the economy on the cards could be a challenge, since you can choose whether to put points toward cards in early rounds or wait and dump all points into later rounds.
this game honestly seems super cool, i just hope they also add arcade and more casual modes since they struck such a good balance between cod/apex and val (maybe a little r6?)
This game looks great if they're able to gain players on release. I hope the marketing staff do enough that this game get lots of exposure online. I feel like Aim Punch needs to be added even if there's barely no Recoil so that riflers could still put pressure from those camper snipers to not peek and fight all the time.
This looks cool, but I don't know if I have the mental bandwidth for yet another multiplayer hero shooter. If I'm going to bounce off the games I already have in rotation it needs to be for something genuinely innovative.

Looks neat, character designs are iffy but the art style overall is cool. Seems like they took the parts of Valorant that appeal to me and separated them from the parts that don't. Looks a little more arcadey and experimental, less sweaty.
I hope this game adds TDM with Card Rules, only having Card Rules in Ranked is a bit dull considering thats the main part of the game that makes it unique haha so as long as they before release add other Game modes with Card Rules that will be 11/10 Game looks hilariously fun tho tbh

Nothing about the mushroom lady's design says "mushroom". She's just wearing a sci-fi jumpsuit. If she had like, any kind of tubes, potions on her, capsules or tanks, even mushrooms growing on her, or maybe if her armor literally had mushroom shapes as part of its geometry, anything. There are so many mushroom-related visual motifs you could use, even more subtle ones. At a glance, the other characters have a similar issue. They need to embody their gimmick. They're not ugly (for the most part), but they need more definition.
I like that actually, i dont need to dress like if i was screaming I AM BOMBERMAN LOOK I HAVE GRENADES, idk for me that is like old lifless character design where the main character have red hair because he usues fire lol.

Not saying this game isn't fun and I'll watch Aculite play pretty much any shooter, but it does make me sad in the back of my mind every time I see a new game which is just yet another BR, character shooter, CS style character shooter, or whatever the fads have been for the past 10 years. I've pretty much quit gaming altogether because of it, if I come back it'll be to play the odd single player game here and there or the next monster hunter.
Everything you said says more about you than it does about the type of games you mentioned. The audience and participants are responsible for the changes and iterations that we get, they don’t design these games because there is no audience. I’ve been playing PC and console games for over 40 years and the changes I’ve seen are monumental but the biggest change is the players and what they want, you are one of those people regardless of what you say.

The random cards system reminds me of the game "Friends vs friends". It's sad that game couldn't get the attention it needed.
