- Our Sunseeker Desert Storm 21.6 is six months old. We feel so lucky to have such an amazing caravan to tour Australia.
Over the past 6 months, we have had the opportunity to experience the very best our caravan has to offer. When we bought our caravan, it was already built, so we couldn't change anything. If we had the opportunity would we change anything? Would we stay with a Sunseeker Caravan?
Tune in and find out.

Great honest review about yr van
That battery system would power the space shuttle lol
Ha. It may. As long as we have sun. Ha Ha
You mentioned about the table handle being at the "wrong" end. We have the same table and it can be swivelled 180 degrees.
Also you have 3 pairs of eyes to see when the pee water needs emptying.
That’s great about the table. Really appreciate it. 👏
Aussie On 🇦🇺
LOL.
We have found a really great compost toilet called " Separett Tiny ". It also has a red warning light for the urine tank. It looks like a better system. This episode was a good honest review. Thanks guys. Al.
Ooh. We will have a look. Thanks heaps.
Thanks for your review, I agree the compost toilet is the best. Our DS came with a cassette toilet, after two weeks I hated the loo. Having to find dump points while traveling was frustrating, the smell was horrible and we had a sog. We always empty the pee pot about three quarters full so no chance of an overflow, I think the pot is big enough. You also don’t use as much water. I agree with you about the screens, our van was two years old when we bought it and the screens were not working properly. We have just replaced them all, I have to say the new ones are better, although they are the same type, they seem to have improved them.
We just heard using a portable steamer on the screens can help. Will let you know
Thanks so much for sharing your video! Love an honest review about living on the road. You mentioned that you use a portable induction cooktop. What are you currently using and what would you change about it?
We are currently using a portable Miele cooker. It’s terrific. We wish we could get a cooker capable of cooking with two pans.
Love this thanks very honest. We looked at Sunseeker but went with different van which we also love
Awesome. Sunseeker are a great van. Happy travels.
Thanks for the review, one question where did you get the knives and holder and the chopping boards and holder , so need them !!!
We got them from Howards Storage World
Hi guys, love your video. I'm just curious if you get any swaying when towing the van with your Ram. We've just bought one and noticed a bit of swaying when towing our 21ft Jayco. Didn't notice it much when towing with BT50.
Thanks
Hi Dave. Our ram is rock solid. I know when we towed our 22ft jayco about four years ago we did get quite a bit of sway. It was way worse when we had our bikes on the back of the van, so we just never took them with us. Maybe check to make sure you dont have to much weight in the rear of the van. If you could also add some more weight to the front of the van and increase ball weight, that will help.
Nice vid, you can plumb the urine to your grey water tank so then you only have to empty the solids
Oh. Not sure I can get my head around how that would work? Have you done this?
Great video! Just wondering, do you like the position of your fans above your bed or would you change what?
Well. The position of the fans are good if you want the fans on sitting on the lounge. However on hot nights we just feel the fans are to far away from the head of the bed. Would be awesome if we could get two more fans and put them above our heads. Hope that makes sense.
Can I ask where you got the cutting boards and knife block mounts from?
We got them from Howard’s storage world. 👍
Sog system takes all smells away
Can I ask what SOG stands for?
That’s right!!! Forgot about that. 👍
@@diannewallyn5686 don’t know what SOG actually stands for but it’s a vent system for cassette toilets and it’s absolutely brilliant
and "he " doesn't make the bed !!!!
Sometimes. 🤣
