I love how you made this hair look. It doesn’t look this good when other people have installed the Kima Ocean Wave. You have this hair looking flawless.
Thank you so much for watching!! I believe I parted my hair from ear to ear and braided the front of my hair straight back in cornrows and connected the ends of those and the back half of my hair in cornrows going ear to ear
those was some good tips , im late on this hair but i brought it today ,i have not installed it yet but this video was very helpful....the style looks really cute on you.....thanks
The crazy thing is I literally just take it out of the pack and install it and the curls come out different everytime lol I don't know why 🤷🏾♀️ but thank you & thanks for watching
Synthetic hair is always gonna tangle thats just one of the down sides of using synthetic hair versus getting a sew in with human hair..sleeping with a satin bonnet & 2 strand twisting this hair at night really helps with tangles
The brand i used is Harlem 125 Kima Braid Ocean wave... sometimes the curls come out differently depending on how thick or thin you separate the strands before installing them ..thanks for watching😊
Sometimes I do cut layers with this hair... I’m not sure why some installs are flat unless they didn’t use as many strands. The more strands and the thickness of the strands determines the fullness of the final look.. thank you for watching!!
Hi. I have been using this hair forever and I am looking for a product to revive and detangle it from time to time. It gets tangled if you don't comb it out every other day. But I'm one to just get up and go so....is there something you have used to keep it fresh and help with tangling??? Thanks for the video!
Hello!! With the kima ocean wave hair I've found that the less product i use on it the longer it lasts.. what might help is if you take sections of hair and 2 strand twist it at night and put a bonnet on it helps it not be as tangled in the morning and you can just unravel the twists and fluff it out and go & it also kinda helps it keep its curl pattern by twisting it at night😊 hope this helps thanks for watching!!❤
I change my hair alot lol but i wore it for about 4weeks...it was easy to maintain for me...i liked that i could brush it with a paddle brush or wide tooth comb and detangle it cuz most crochet hair cant be combed..as long as u have a bonnet, a paddle brush and oil your scalp you should be good to go😊
Thank you!! I didn't really do anything special i took the hair out of the package and just separated the pieces as usual😊.. but i have noticed if you separate the strands in half it gives a different look & if you separate the strands in thirds you get a different look 😊
Water is what adds moisture to your natural hair and the oil seals in that moisture which is important for natural hair depending on your hair type.. I have never had a smell of mildew from spritzing a lil water in all the years that I have been natural.. thanks for watching!
Get a spray bottle mix water and lotta body setting lotion. In sections spray your hair enough where is wet not saturated...start from the bottom with a wig brush...detangling your hair. At first it'll look like you messed up the wave pattern...but it'll bounce right back
Everyone has different things that work for their hair ☺️ I was taught that water is what hydrates and the oil is the sealant that seals in the hydration from the water. So depending on how long the style is worn, I like to hydrate my hair ☺️ thanks for watching!
The hair is gorgeous. I just purchased the hair for my crotchet style. It looks like a beautiful sew in. Thanks for the review
Yes i love this hair! Thank you for watching!!

Good job Sister! Thanks
Thank you so much for watching!!😊
Billie marie how do you make the hair no tangle even though you use the water and oil?
Synthetic hair is always gonna tangle thats just one of the down sides of using synthetic hair versus getting a sew in with human hair..sleeping with a satin bonnet & 2 strand twisting this hair at night really helps with tangles

@@billiemarie7078 Ok thank you!!!
Thank you so much for this! At the taping of the video, how long had it been installed? Do you have an update video coming?
I had it in for like 3 days I think I have an update video on my channel😊 thanks for watching!!
Was it a low maintenence hair ? And how long did it last?
I change my hair alot lol but i wore it for about 4weeks...it was easy to maintain for me...i liked that i could brush it with a paddle brush or wide tooth comb and detangle it cuz most crochet hair cant be combed..as long as u have a bonnet, a paddle brush and oil your scalp you should be good to go😊
Billie Marie did it slip? Did you have to cut it
@@dashadiamond i knotted it at least 4 to 5 times so no it didn't slip..i kept it at the length it came in but after i would detangle i would trim it
What did you do to prepare the hair before installing? It’s the prettiest ocean wave I’ve seen.
Thank you!! I didn't really do anything special i took the hair out of the package and just separated the pieces as usual😊.. but i have noticed if you separate the strands in half it gives a different look & if you separate the strands in thirds you get a different look 😊
Love the tips, it's helping the hair last!!
Yayyyyy!! I'm so glad to hear that😊 thank you for watching!!
What’s the purpose of the water? Aren’t you afraid of the smell of mildew?

Yes!! That’s a great tip! Thanks for watching
Is it silky or kinky textured
It’s not silky but it’s not kinky either.. it has the feel of natural hair that has been flat ironed..
How long did this style last?
I wore it for 4 weeks i believe but i change my hair a lot lol
Beautiful style! Ty for your response
@@organicniki6 thank youuuuu!! Thank you so much for watching 😁

Too much blah blah no step-by-step explanations. It's boring because it's not that kind of video that can help you style your hair
This was not a tutorial which is mentioned in the title..i have crochet tutorials on my channel with step by step instructions.. thanks for watching🙂
Wow rude 😒 😑 😕
@@billiemarie7078 great vid thanks
@@loverainthunder thank you so much for watching🙂
It wasn't a tutorial video. Read the title. 🙄
How long did it last?
I usually wear it for a month but I change my hair a lot lol so it’s possible to wear a little longer
