Great video! Thank you, this is just what was looking for. But it would have been extremely helpful if you would've given us the needed lengths of corsages for those of us that want to make one for the first time.
Again thank u very much. I was trying to design them so I could keep it on my hand for long periods of time with out discomfort or fingers going numb from it clinching them too tight.
I am now going to start My sling!!! Thank You ! for posting this and all the dimensions of your sling ! Man the way those finger loops are designed are wicked ! love how they slack off your digits when not under tension! i have seen alot of sling designs but this one hands down is my Favorite !! Everything about it flows from end to end . looking forward to whatever future footage you will make available to us viewers, keep up the great work your builds are top Notch and i really enjoy this Channel ! thanks again for the knowledge !
Nice, I’m glad u found the video helpful. The gold cord for me is about 3 feet long. The first one u do is experimental, I used some scrap pieces and did mock up of just the finger loops. That way I could perfect my braid and weave, by doing a couple of these smaller practice pieces at the same time, to c what fits the best. Best of luck to u, u now have fallen down the rabbit hole in search of the perfect sling!! Welcome fellow sling maker, just have fun. If I can help in any way let me know.
I wouldn’t mind in the least. My slings are typically 25.5”-27” from middle of sling to fingerloops, or 51”-54” from release knot to fingerloops. My pouch is about 5” there abouts, this seems to work for tennis ball all the way down to golf ball size and a bit smaller projectiles. And there is a link in the description of the finger loop video that will take u to my video on the 4strand braid and the stopper knot I use to make my slings, as well as how to construct the pouch area. Enjoy!
is this the starting point or is the other end first???? plz help i'm trying to start but i'm still a little confused about where to start i saw the other one first but if this is the folded in half end i'd guess this is the start?
The video is really good in description and showing you how to make the sling itself but my only downfall is you have no total lengths of Corgi used to make your specific size so others can guesstimate on measurements to make it fit their arms better and your description doesn't really help all that much
The reason I didn’t include my measurements is, u just braid the down cord to what ever length u want, u can make the pouch any size u want based on ammo. Once u finish pouch u just braid release cord til the sling fits the way u want it too. It also depends on how tight or loose u make the braid. So I didn’t c the need for any measurements they r what ever they need to be. But for my sling size of 26in I start with 2, 140in of cordage for the main 4 stand braid that make the down cord and release cord. Hope this helps.
Is the difference big? I've never made a sling but am interested in making one and this design seems fine to me (to not cut off circulation to my finger(s))?
@@mlk0655 I'm not sure he's correct, because my accuracy is still crap, BUT... As per my comment above you can still use these as a thick single loop (by just folding them over and placing both loops on the same finger).

Thanks, Check the description that info is there.
Been using this since finding it. Latest sling... I made this, as usual, but folded them over and they work well as a thicker single loop as well. 👍
Very cool!
The finger loops design is pure genius!
Again thank u very much. I was trying to design them so I could keep it on my hand for long periods of time with out discomfort or fingers going numb from it clinching them too tight.
That is clever!
Thanks
Lots of trial & error.

Ur quite welcome, glad it is helpful. I would love to c ur sling when it is all finished and ready for some flinging action.
@@blindsquirrelRockChucker You Bet I Will send you a Pic!!👍
Can’t wait
do you start at the finger loop end or the release end??
Great video! I’m about to start weaving my own based on your guide.
How long is the piece of gold paracord you use to wrap the finger loops?

Nice done, would mind to give the dimensions of your sling? Would you make a video in the future on how to making a sling? Thanks best regards

I find the design to be VERY SMART -- the two-finger hold is great!
I was more curious about the CORD'S THICKNESS....
THNX
It’s just 550 paracord, it’s about 4mm.
@@blindsquirrelRockChucker
THNX!
U r welcome, good luck and enjoy
Very welcome
Does the 1 inch rule apply to all sizes of paracord or is this just for 550? Thanks!
Not sure what 1 in rule u r referring to?

Yep it is folded in half and u start there at the finger loops. Guess I need to redo video showing me make one from beginning to end?
@@blindsquirrelRockChuckerNah just make them a playlist so that you can say part 1&2
Do they sell these?!?! I want one.
I do just email me at BlindSquirrelRockChucker@gmail.com and we can chat about the details. 😊
Do you happen to sell your slnigs?
Send me an email at. BlindSquirrelRockChucker@gmail.com
That way we can chat about what u would like.
I can and will, just hit me up

They aren't as accurate as single loops

why is that?

@SicketMog I'm not sure he is either. I love the double loops on my slings and my accuracy hasn't changed for worse
