Hey, Iniquity sorry to ruin your day! It was a blast playing against you though. I crapped my pants when I realized it was you rushing my flag! I've been playing with the G2 on PC a lot more lately.
When you killed me twice, I was like....I bet he's gonna do that babbadook sling shooty thingamajiggy all the way across the map. Sure enough.....yup :)
This game basically came down to NO ONE SUPPORTING THE CAP. Two guys protect the flag at all times and 3 stim guys do a flag relay with the free man providing cover. Slingshotty is a great tactic but any competent player can easily predict your flight path and mow you down. I basically depend on the slingshot arc to lead my fire and get kills. Same with sliding. Stim is MUCH more dangerous in that the pilot still has full and unpredictable mobility and can weave and slide like crazy.
Iniquity, if you like the Mozambique and wanna play with it some more, I would like to give you a couple tips because I believe it’s the low-key meta. 1) Always try to have a height advantage. This helps especially because it’s a projectile. 2) Try not to strafe left/right while in gunfights. Instead, try to bounce off walls, grapple up and over them, etc. Also try not to ADS while doing this. This helps because the gun has a huge area of effect and even though it is a projectile, if you lead your shots (even with your “bad” aim) it shouldn’t be that hard to hit. Basically just spray n’ pray. 3) Try not to shoot until you are in a position where your shot is going to do decent damage or you have a clear advantage if it were to turn to a gunfight. This is because your bullets are big, bright projectiles and can easily be spotted and used to the enemy’s advantage. 4) To compare this to a playstyle you know, think of the Eva-8 (like you said), only slightly more aggressive and bouncing around a lot more. Just to be clear, these are just some tips of mine if you want to do better with this gun. You can follow them, some of them, none, or even not touch the gun again. It’s your decision
Tones Partical Wall bug fix makes the wall 4X stronger than it was before. This effect does apply to Legions Gun shield but I don't think it's as strong.
Im not sure if you’ve ever addressed it but why did you stop using phase shift? I’ve been a grapple main since day one and now im thinking of switching to phase shift...what are your thoughts?
Phase is really strong, especially if you can get fast without grapple and like to play up in your enemies faces. It works well with SMGs and tactikill, you can get two kills, phase, reload and repeat.
Lasse Reinlaufen yeah i’ve been running pulse blade so that i can stop relying on grapple for movement. I consider myself highly skilled and i average 20+ kills per match. So i think phase is just the new way to go. I am good enough at avoiding death without the skill so i think it can take me to a greater level once i start using it
Lafset 10 It can be very helpful, you basically get 2 seconds of security where you can move and reload without anyone shooting you. I usually use this time to get myself some cover or flank the enemy. Slidehopping straight at an enemy and phasing through them often confuses them as they usually dont expect you to slidehop while phased. I recommend trying to not phase out in front of an enemy, they will see you first and as you do not regenerate health while phased and your enemy most likely does with the quick healing perk, you will usually be at a disadvantage.
A CTF game without flag&slingshot and without abuse of stim?? That was a great and interesting game,bro! @respawn: a grapple nerf that only affects flag carrying, THAT wpuöd have been the way to go. (Same for stim(!!) and phase(phase is fine now)
I want to play this on PC but I find the movement uncomfortable on the keyboard and I'm bad enough as it is without handicapping myself by using a controller against people using a mouse.
Inquity...Titanfall 2 teaches every player a thing on campain mode...You have to adapt to survive...you dont know the map or you dont play with legion alot...its ok...be like a pilot and adapt to your surroundings
I loved CTF in the first Titanfall but am just bored with it in TF2. In TF2 there is just nothing happening way too often. I also miss riding on a friendly Titan with the enemy flag to get a safe cap, It just isn't useful anymore with no Titan shield protecting the pilot.

The titan method still works with ronins sword core, but it is way too easy. Slingshotting or doing crazy stim runs works much better.
