There's a lot of aim assist on the controller, that old halo 2 sweeping gamestyle is back too. Just sweep the sniper over the enemy and it slows down as it gets close to the player. With enough practice you can really make it look nice. M&K snipers are amazing too though, but I feel as if the BR on M&K sucks trying to hit that last shot of a 4 shot sometimes it just feels like it isn't registering like it does for controller. The switch to the single shot AR was a nice change for competitive play IMO, tying M&K and controller players even closer than before.

HCS is so good in Infinite. Love it. So much fun to watch compared to other competitive games. Arlington finals were nuts. I've never seen so many games in a row that were so close. They played what like 12 games? and pretty much 10 of them were ties?
This was probably some of the best Halo we've ever seen. Formal was something else this tourney too. Stellur's a deity. They're all so bloody good. Can't believe Optic didn't reset the bracket though! They were so freakin close. They just ran out of steam on Solitude.
Did Optic just give up on Solitude.....like what the heck happened? It was such a slaughter.
World championships last year was some of the most competitive play I’ve seen in any esports. There was like 5 games of slayer that ended 50-49 with 1 second left on the clock. By the end of last year it was completely even odds between optic SSG and Faze on who would win
that has to be one of the worst feelings in the world... dude gets dropped because the team felt he was holding them back... then they win the next tourney. ouch

The way they play Halo is inhuman, I can't even fathom how they can play like that, especially on controller with how snappy they are.

To think Formal was a cod pro for years, retired, and was like “I’m gonna play Halo now”. May be the best console pro of all time honestly

you cant have a real competitive scene when the community is just ok with everyone using aimbot. especially in a game where aim is the most important thing.
Optic got so unlucky with that 6th map, has to be the worst map for that mode in the entire game.
Formal missed that shot at 2:50! No wonder I lose to controller
That’s just observer mode. It’s not one to one with the reticle placement the player sees.

i liked the older single player halo games but i never liked the multiplayer. the weapons just aren't interesting just look at this gameplay everyone is using the same single shot weapons that's so boring to me. this game has so many cool weapons where are all those weapons at? i can't even tell what this game mode is.. is it just team death match?
That's why you're a casual and they're professionals, they use the meta that way they can get a dub. You go into big team battle and go "huuuur duuur I pick up sniper then go into banshe and die". Also every halo MP competitively has been like this so don't bring up "Older halos".
@@notsaitoox8240 True, that comment made me want to BxR him. Who is trying to run around with a needler and plasma pistol over a BR or sniper. Not only are the other weapons worse but they just aren't as fun to play with.

@@greg_one_izm pros or simply better players aren't elites and aren't deciding how the game is played and this doesn't trickle down into the minds of the developer then to further strengthen these mindsets you and this other guy have expressed to me? totally not elitism btw. the elite would not be mad if they changed the weapons? if they made the needler the best gun in the game?
