You reminded me of my 2nd grade teacher who also had a tree with lollipops! She used it as a reward for 100% on tests & on birthdays where everyone rec'd one! 🍭🍬🍭

love your card and making some for grandkids; I decided to trace the tree and create a template of heavy cardstock to back the tree; a made it a bit smaller to allow for tracing and that it not show on front of tree; thank you for your idea and demo !!!!

I need to make some children’ s cards for cards for kindness and so now I finally have a reason to order some of these sweet stamps and dies. The only children in my life are 2 fur faces and so haven’t really stocked up on these sorts of images before.

Hi Janet! Lawn Fawn’s Jet Black ink is Copic friendly. It works great with Lawn Fawn’s cardstock, but I have also used it with Georgia Pacific, and Neenah Solar White cardstock.
I did this with the tree too and it was so heavy that it kept tipping back and forth so I had to prop it up, which wasn't easy. I had used far fewer leaf parts than you.
Now that you mention that, I’m surprised I didn’t have a problem with it tipping. I did have that happen with a large window until I added a second die cut window frame to the other side of the T base.
You don't have a problem with the ink smearing when you color with Copics using a Copic friendly ink? I do. I stamp everything I need first and on another day I would color it and another day, I would die cut and another day I would try to put the card together. It's not always the next day, either. I can't craft for a long period of time, because I have to get everything off of the dining room table. I don't even have room to let things dry, so i can't use those distress inks. So I am very limited. :(
Sometimes the paper can make a difference with smearing. Lawn Fawn’s works really well. I feel for you with the limited space! I too was a kitchen table crafter and was thrilled on the day I finally got my craft room in the basement.

Even Laura Bassen is stamping everything one day and coloring another day. So that isn't the problem. I'm doing exactly what all of you are doing. Well I can't even craft in my room. I have no desk, no dresser, no nightstand in my room. I just have a small cabinet that has mostly files in it. My closet is really small and I only have maybe 10 clothes in there. The rest are my mom's. My mom has these big shelves in my room, so I have no room. My clothes are draped over boxes and on a rod. All my long sleeve stuff is on the rod and my shirt sleeve and 2 denim jeans are draped over boxes. My mom's sewing room is brimmed with stuff that she can't even sew in there. So I have no where to craft except the kitchen table but I have to move everything so we three can eat.

What white cardstock did you use that is Copic Marker Friendly? I never knew you black ink is Copic Friendly! Thanks for sharing that information!
