  • I went on a solo trip to Kyoto for the first time in over 10 years.
We went to Fushimi Inari Taisha, Kiyomizu Temple, Yasaka Shrine, Gion, and Kamogawa, then moved to Arashiyama, saw Togetsukyo Bridge, and then had dinner in Pontocho.
Traveling according to the above schedule was quite difficult, so I think it would be best to choose your itinerary by yourself.
On the second day, I went to Toji Temple, which was a very quiet and wonderful place.
During the cherry blossom season, Toji Temple is open from 5 a.m. If you go early in the morning, you'll find it relatively empty. The scenery and the Kondo hall are both wonderful, so I recommend it.
Although I wasn't able to visit half of the places I wanted to visit in 1 night and 2 days, Kyoto was still a wonderful place.

Next time, I would like to post about my solo trip to Osaka.
I went to USJ and rode Yoshi's ride alone, wondering what he was doing...
