@@livialsd the storyline itself is already very ridiculous, the doll itself makes it even worse. I wonder how the actors are able to keep a straight face acting the scenes out. It's so cringey.
@@kendon0923 Harry did, he went to his dad and all Tony did was shame him and tell him to get out of the village. And last time I checked Harry didn't harass any people or made an innocent girl lose her hearing.
Before I pass judgement and write this guy off (because there really is no excuse for racism), I'll try to give him the benefit of the doubt. Does anyone know the context of Ste's racism storyline. I've never watched this show, besides the George & John-Paul clips, but from the comments it seemed like a lot of people were excited for Ste's return so I'm struggling to understand why he's a fan favourite. Is he a character we love to hate or is there really missing context to why people are rooting for a racist character?
I agreed, the racism storyline is the worst for him and I couldn't stand him. He was so horrible. But for me, that storyline is almost as interesting as the gay domestic abuse storyline with Brendan. But I supported him to be better because in my opinion, Ste is actually a good man and he can change, he always walks back to the right path everytime he's done something stupid (he always does). I've always hated him (and liked him though) because he is not smart enough to make the right choices and he's got temper. But the racism storyline, he was just that messed up in the head after finding out his newly wedded husband, Harry, had been cheating on him for 3 months and didn't actually want the wedding and on that same wedding day, Tegan, his sister (the closest one to him) died tragically. When he asked for support from Harry, he left him, the next day, he told his sister, Leena, that he's never been so lonely in his life, alone. He couldn't think clearly (as always), he found someone to blame, and the guy in charge of the far right decided he was the best new candidate and they groomed him, made him feel so loved, he fell for their lies. He didn't know what was right and what was wrong. He isn't racist, he was made to believe everything they were doing was right, and that the muslims were in the wrong. He couldn't see it.
Erica, can I just thank you for all your work you do for us, we love you)))
You are so welcome! Thanks for those lovely words.

Ste is now a hunky dad. You love to see it.
I miss his blonde look, though.
I love that song in the opening
I don't know about you guys but this blackmail story is getting beyond ridiculous and reeks of bad cringey writing.
I agree... this is just stupid
I think I could take the plot more seriously without the doll

Ste attempted to make attempts before he left, if I remember correctly Harry didn’t.
