Thank you so much for this! I am also not an early morning person, but my husband is having heart surgery this morning! Love my Sun Valley Family!🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
Thank you Katrina!! I needed the reminder today as I am dealing with worry(anxiety over seeing a new doctor). My head knows, my heart knows that God will provide but my body reacts as if it's in danger. Your definition of worry is so helpful to me. Casting my thoughts to the future. I need to focus on today. Your insights always encourage me and give me strength. God Bless You! I pray others will draw closer to God because of your willingness to share your heart.😊
Katrina - there is a saying I’ve kept with me for many years. Your message today was an excellent reminder: Good morning, this is God. I will be handling all your problems today. I do not need your help, so have a good day! Kim O’Driscoll
So thankful for this teaching. My one son once said to me, “Mom your first case scenario is ALWAYS the worst case scenario”. Trying to do better with that, this teaching really helped.
I’ve heard this skill referred to as “reframing” negative thoughts. There’s a lot of videos on UA-cam about it. Don’t know how all of it lines up with Bible so as with all things psychology/spirituality run it though your is from God or man filter.
@@sammyers3554 great thought! I agree we always need to test pop psychology with what the Bible says. Reframing is a biblical principle just with a modern name. For example we are to “take all thoughts captive and make them obedient to Christ” is an example of reframing. It is moving from our perspective to God’s perspective on the situation. Another example that I love is in Jeremiah 3 when he is lamenting and he “calls to mind” the promises of God: 21 Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: 22 Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. 23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. 24 I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.” 25 The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; 26 it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.
Thank you Katrina. I devotion came up today and I needed this message. Today. Be in the present. Choose to focus on Today. Amen.
I needed this teaching and am grateful for your approach to it. You are a blessing. Thank you 🙏
We value and appreciate your commitment to teach, love on, and bless us, Chad, Katrina, and team. We pray God's protection and blessing over you.
Just stay in today and do today! Look to God's Promises. Trading my fears for faith! Thank you Katrina!
