@ yes, they have the same DNA but they differ in feel and amount of gain, voicing etc. for my style, I prefer the paul over all of them. more lively than others.
Hi ....really good tone !! what speakers do you have and the Paul have KT77 here ? and how do you compare the Paul to the VH2 ? same first channel ?? and the second ??
@@pumpkins6293 Hi, speakers are celestion v60 in Engl 4x12 front loaded cab. EL34 TAD Redbase, I had vh2 and thought it was the worst diezel I ever had. the paul is total opposite, the best diezel and I had them all. ch1 on paul is much better for setting that blooming vintage overdrive sound with gain cranked. vh2 ch1 with gain on full goes into light crunch, totally different vibe. the vh2 is stiff feeling amp to play, the paul is chewy and organic with more hi mids, so like instant tool tone on a recording, where it is mixed with marshall. ch2 on paul is again better than vh2 ch2 with better feel and at the same time it’s tighter than vh2, but chewy under the fingers, more soulful. then you have ch3 on a paul, that can be set either for leads or super evil brutal rhythm metal sound. count in all other extras like reverb, loops, mute, midi etc. and you have much better amp overall for the same money as vh2. no brainer in my book :)
