- Starting from downtown Houston at the I-10 junction, beginning to drive north on I-69/US 59 (Eastex Freeway) through North Houston, Humble, cross into Montgomery County, Splendora, cross into Liberty County, and Cleveland until reaching the San Patricio county line north of Cleveland.

Thank you .... yes do speed up your trips they are not in real time .... BUT your channel is the only one I can go to and find any drive across the metro area from downtown to galvaston from downtown to Huntsville from downtown to Cleveland from downtown to rosenburg from downtown to anywhere and I love how you start at city center or drive there it shows how massive the area is even when its sped up it's still over 12 15 min long video sped up that says this area is huge .... thank you ..... you have the best channel for Houston driving out ....

I really like I-69 through northeastern Houston. Aside from the Katy, it seems like it's the second most modern freeway in the metro area. Nice work on the video.

and on the other note ... I'm starting to debate which metro area sprawls out most HOUSTON or L.A ??????????
I always found Cleveland TX to be an odd choice for a control city on US-59 going north out of Houston. It isn't really a significant city compared to Victoria (the control city for US-59 going southwest).
Lufkin would have been the better control city in my opinion. Lufkin and Victoria are also about the same distance from Houston.
Cleveland TX is a nice lookin town and it's not far from Houston TX

.... they put exit numbers on I 69 already at the exit signs but not on the top signs?
Guessing that they are adding them slowly over time.
These things are a work in progress, and additions or changes will come as funding becomes available for them. Not only will we eventually see changes to the overhead guide signs, but also additional assurance markers on side streets and approaches. Lots of catching up to do in the Houston area, and it does take some time.
