Thank you! The main structure is made out of wood shaped to the various parts. I hand painted the clock face onto a piece of plexiglass. The wreath is just one of the twig wreaths from Michael’s painted black. Maybe I’ll do a video going into depth because I plan to make the clock arms move this year :)
This is all awesome! It must be nice not having to worry about the pieces holding up in the rain. I grew up in Vegas but now I live in the Pacific Northwest. Any tips from anyone on weather proofing props would be greatly appreciated. (Both Rain and wind are an issue where I am.)
Thank you! That’s so funny, we’re both from the PNW originally. Depending on the prop, I would say a couple coats of polyurethane should help a lot when it comes to rain and fading. I definitely still have a problem with wind as well. Just have to stake and tie them down as best as possible. Sometimes that’s not even enough. Certain props are heavy enough to hold up to moderate wind. Hope that helps and thanks for watching :)
This is amazing!! Thank you so much for sharing your talent!! I was looking for more inspiration for making some props for our house, this was our first year of doing some Nightmare Before X-mas décor and the kids and parents loved it. I love your fence and would love to make it, such a great idea.
Thank you! That’s so awesome, I’m glad to have provided some inspiration :) We went super simple this year as many props need to be rebuilt so next year should be bigger and better! Stay tuned and thank for watching!
One of the best Nightmare Before Christmas decor I've seen! I love the town clock as well. How are you planning to get flames coming out of Jack's mouth?
Thank you for the kind words! I was hoping to produce the flames using an ultrasonic mister but it just wasn’t putting out enough. I may try to get a larger one or create the same effect with a fog machine. That, with some light shined on it, makes it look incredibly realistic without being dangerous lol.
@@somewherebeyond3828 Both ideas sound good! First thought that came to mind was a small fan blowing upwards and using thin strands of clear plastic out of the mouth & eyes. With nice lighting inside that might look good as well? Happy haunts!
Yeah I have definitely thought about doing that as well. Just trying to replicate as best as I can. I might end up doing something similar. Thanks again! Happy haunt season 🎃
Thank you for the kind words! I built it from scratch using plywood and plexiglass just trying to replicate it as best as I could. The wreath is from Michael’s and I painted it black. It’s definitely due for an update probably next year. Thanks for watching :)
Thank you! The green light is just a light strip fastened on the ceiling similar to the previous strips that were on the fence and replaced with the flood lights. You can very much use the same type of floodlight though to get the same affect. Thanks for watching 🎃
It’s basically one of those twig wreaths from Michael’s painted black. The counter is built from mdf and plexi for the sign sections. One of these days, I’ll make a diy video.
Thank you! Awesome, let us know how it turns out! I used a “Funkin” (which I think, are only available at JoAnn’s now?) and just carved the face out with a hot knife. Thanks for watching :) We hope to but updating/making new props for next year as well.
I made it using 1x2 furring strips and 1/2” pvc. For the tops I cut two foam triangles and glued them together and to the top of each pipe. Super simple and easy :) Thanks for checking us out!
I love Halloween and the Nightmare Before Christmas is one of my favorite movies.
Yes! Halloween is so much fun! There’s no better mashup of holidays!
Great display!!!
My wife and i turning our entire yard into Halloween Town and love your black fencing idea.
Thank you! I’ll get there eventually. I have major plans every year but run out of time lol. Be sure to show us your end result!
Man this is a beautiful display! The Christmas Vacation nod was epic. Great job man!! Josh
Thank you so much!!! We’re glad someone got it lol!
I loved the little National Lampoon's skit in there too. That was fun! Y'alls decorations are top notch!!!! Wish Y'all were my neighbors lol
Thank you! That part made us laugh haha. Thanks so much for watching 💜🖤
Dude u killed it! A real inspiration to anyone with a small yard...shows u can still make it impactful.
Thank you so much! I would absolutely build all of Halloweentown if I had the room lol. Thanks for watching 🎃👻
Can't wait to see what you guys do for 2022.

I just bought my first house...I'm so doing this
Congratulations! Do it! Let us know how things turn out 💀👻🎃
How do you hold the fence made of pvc ?? To the ground
I drove some rebar halfway into the ground and slid the fence onto the half sticking out. Works perfectly!
So much talent!!!! Thank you for sharing.❤
Thank you for the kind words!
Very nice job! You're quite the artist/craftsman!
Thank you!!! Much appreciated :)

Love your setup...was wondering how you made your countdown clock. I want to make one of my own.

Thank you! Thanks for watching .
So good!!!
Thank you!
Dang this is amazing 🤩. Have you considered making to sell ?? 😅I love the clock ⏰ 😮
Thank you! Yes, I have sold some in the past but it became quite difficult to make so many at rapid pace lol. I’m glad you enjoyed it :)

Beautiful display 👏
What did you use for the clock? I've been wanting to take up the challenge in making it 😈

Awesome!! Are the green lights the same as the purple ones?💀🕷️🕸️🎃

Love it! I was curious how you got the hay look on your scarecrow?
Thank you! I used some floral sticks (reeds) from Michael’s and wrapped them around some pvc to make the desired thickness.
@@somewherebeyond3828 thanks!
Supah wicked! Love it and subbed. Yer Pal Mitchie
Thanks lady! Glad you enjoyed it!
What did you use to make the Oogie Boogie decal?
He’s actually just cut out of cardboard and spray painted black. Super simple and has held up decent over the years. Thanks for watching :)
How did you make the wreath calendar?

Do you have a video for the countdown clock?
I don’t but I may make one in the future! Keep an eye out. Thanks for watching!
@@somewherebeyond3828 You have the best countdown clock I have seen. A build video would be awesome....
Great display! I think I’m going to replicate your Pumpkin King build for my own display next year. Where did you get the pumpkin for the head?

Don’t know if you could please send me the links to videos you used.
Here you go, hopefully that works :)

Do you have a tutorial?❤
I plan to remake a lot of the props so once I do, I’ll definitely have them up :) stay tuned and thanks for checking us out!

Haha : P
Sadly if I did this, it would all be stolen by the next day in my neighborhood…
That’s so sad! You should get a Halloween tree and decorate the inside of your house! Thanks for watching 💜🖤
Hi
Lkue
I have a question where did you buy or how did u made the black fence ? Thanks greetings from Mexico
I made it using 1x2 furring strips and 1/2” pvc. For the tops I cut two foam triangles and glued them together and to the top of each pipe. Super simple and easy :) Thanks for checking us out!
