R-Type Delta is my favorite game out of all the R-Type installments. For the PS1, I love the gameplay and graphics of this game, because the difficulty is challenging, and the graphics are pretty colorful for the time. The music is awesome as well. It's composed by Haruhiko Kuroiwa.
While the graphics are 3D, the gameplay is still 2D like Einhander and G-Darius on the PS1. You can choose one of the four ships in this game, and the ships are R-9A2 Delta, RX-10 Albatross, R-13A Cerebrus, and TP-2 POW Armor. This game also introduces the Dose System, which acts like a bomb in the R-Type series.

I've never played Delta, so never really cared for the POW armor other than destroying them to upgrade, but after to watching this, I have a new found respect for them lol. Thats cool they made it a playable ship and with really cool weapons too. Someday, I'll find me a copy of Delta lol.
The POW Armor has some really cool, exotic weapons, and it's such a fun ship to play with. I hope you can find a copy of R-Type Delta someday.

I've been playing R-Type Final 2 recently. I still personally like it, but I'm very disappointed with the boss
battles and lackluster, uninspired endings after credits. The bosses in 5.0 & 6.0 don't shoot at all, & the
"battleship" in stage 7.1 doesn't make me feel like I am fighting against the battleship. R-Type Final 2 is
less atmospheric than the previous games, and it lacks the horror aspect that the series has known for.
At least the DLC stages are very fun to play. They're some of the reasons why I've decided to play RTF2.
Wtf is the loading screens at the start?!? Isn’t that a emulator issue? Cuz I never seen it when I played duckstation
I might have to trim this video down to skip the loading times.
