Great matches! I really wanna get better as lucario and the lack of videos really makes it hard, so thanks! Quick question tho. 8:03 I thought aura sphere cancel up smash didn’t work anymore? Or is there a special way to do it?

Aura sphere cancel into up smash still does work! but it's nowhere near as reliable as it used to be previously as you need to be pretty much directly on top of them for it to connect.
I would still recommend going for bair/downsmash instead of upsmash when possible but it can work, it's just a matter of learning from experience and knowing when it will/won't work haha

Great Lucario! I've watched your other vids too! I feel like I have a hard time confirming kills, and all my best kill options are laggy. BAir, Double Team, Force Palm, Smash attack, etc. You ever thought about putting together a video on bread and butter kill confirms?

I've sadly covered most of the kill confirms during the main guide back last year i'm afraid :/ one of Lucario's biggest weaknesses ironically is that he struggles to kill since he doesn't have manty things that are safe haha.
Most of our kills come from what you've mentioned plus edgeguarding and ASC confirms. I've learned a few new things that might help though which i'll be making videos on soon though so those might help you in time :)

@@JovinusSSB Sounds good! Yea I watched your other videos too. All great! Just wondering if there's a way to make OoS Dair1+Force Palm grab or the ASC combos more consistent based on DI or reads. Is ASC+Utilt+Bair or into Down Smash a potential option?

@@JovinusSSB Something also I've been experimenting that I haven't seen many people do is jump+double team out of falling Aura Sphere as a mix-up or early kill confirm. It also sort of conditions people afterwards to not be so aggressive towards my Aura Sphere which allows me to set up on shields or move more freely. Try it out! Maybe a video on Double Team could be a good idea?

@@X_Cuda_X Quite alot here so i'll answer as much as I can :)
As far as I know there isn't a particularly reliable way of getting dair 1 into force palm since the move has been changed a little. You can force this by buffering a fullhop upair and then dair 1 will work, but it doesnt seem practical to go for.
ASC into downsmash is a perfectly fine option to go for and was covered in the main guide (it is true, the timing is just a bit strict really) and the uptilt into bair is just too slow i'm afraid.
And honestly i've never even thought of double team while falling onto an opponent with aura sphere like that! I've no idea how good it is but that's something i've never heard of before and i'll definitely be trying that at my next weekly :P I have a strong feeling it could be good now and then, but like any counters it isn't something you can do often haha
