Not interested in hearing anyone from the DUP complaining about Brexit.
NI has a uniquely privileged place; unfettered trade access to both EU and UK. Why would they join the Irish Republic and give that up? Scotland isn’t going anywhere; so the spiteful opportunism to break the UK up in the wake of Brexit has failed. Hilarious 😆
@@aleph8888 Pretty pathetic that your members have to stay with ye, as opposed to actually wanting to.
@@aleph8888Scotland got done baaad by gb.. they’d love a second referendum as they never wanted to leave the eu in the first place that’s why they voted to stay in the uk
Yes, it is the first thing that jumped into my head when the DUP lady opened her mouth.
Emma LP ought to be reminded that it was HER party that campaigned for Brexit and voted down PM May's proposals with the EU. Result: trade barrier between GB and NI. Well done, DUP.
We will return to the EU.
This joke union is finished, Scotland is leaving.
When the EU changes from the Marxist elite to the far fight, as they are on the way to doing, we might think about it.
Remind me, how many walk outs have taken place at Stormont?
One was very much right to do. First minister investigated for criminality wouldn't step aside while it took place.
Then the DUP walked away from an agreement to restore power sharing.
@@aljomc6444 Yep there are always excuses. Slagging someone else off while those in power won't get round the table is to say the least hypocritical. As for individual politicians then there should be a process where when investigated for any act of criminality should be stood down pending investigation. It happens in most walks of life. Not that I'm a fan of the tories, what I think of them is unprintable for many reasons but I would like to see both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland move on from the past.
@@PaulDenison-r7rthe Republic has moved on long ago, and is a functioning modern democratic state. The six counties are lagging behind - but will hopefully catch up.
Best thing in this video is the cappuccino and The Northern Ireland Party.
On a planet of triangles, the DUP would support the circles.
I love the title on key frame
The UK government pumped around £350 billion (€400 billion) in a financial rescue package to support jobs, incomes and businesses during the Covid pandemic lockdown and it’s a major reason why inflation took off …That’s some ‘starving’ of services..
Where's that money now. Who has it.
@@Misaki.Manifestation Spent I would imagine. As it was supposed to be. If it hadn't had stayed unspent, it wouldn't have been a rescue, would it?
@@anthonyferris8912 Ok so everyone spent the money, who has it now?
Brexit is much worse economic hit than Covid and Ukraine, will continue to get worse
@@Misaki.Manifestationlike pretty much all of the “emergency” spending by the U.K. gov - in the accounts of the friends and donors of the Tory party.
Northern Alliance sounds good to me. Promoting business to come set up and trade with the EU and Great Britian.
No pleasing the Irish, god bless em. Perhaps one of the greatest examples of a diaspora due to poverty
Complaining about immigrants. The contribution of the Irish to the world is immense. This is a stain on
Ireland's reputation.
The day will come, maybe not in my lifetime, but come it will, when the terms "United Kingdom and Great Britain" will be consigned to the rubbish heap of history and England will be a small gated theme park peopled by characters from the writings of P.G. Wodehouse, Charles Dickens, W.H. Johns and Sapper .
The U.S. has started to separate the country names when we speak to each other locally (Irish, Scottish, Welsh, and English). Our abbreviation ‘UK’ now stands for Ukraine.
That's actually amazing @@JohnnyinMN
Is free movement working out well in Eire 😂😂😂😂😂😂
didn't NI overwhelmingly vote against EU membership
they overwhelmingly voted AGAINST brexit, but the DUP kept backing brexit like there is no tomorrow, only for brexit to come back and bite them in the rearend...
Totally the opposite!! Nothern Ireland voted overwhelmingly to remain in the EU in the 2016 Brexit referendum.
the DUP is to blame for this, they backed brexit, they thought the brexit would get them a wall between Ireland and NI, but to save the good friday agreements, that border now has been put between NI and GB, THX DUP !!
DUP complaining about Brexit is akin to an arsonist unhappy with the heat of the fire he started. 😂
Actually Brussels started this fire by massively and repeatedly moving the goalposts.
Eg; 1970s + 1970s - "OF COURSE we will never get rid of the internal borders in the Common Market".
"OF COURSE we will never take more than a tiny fraction of sovereignty off the national parliaments"
[Merkel on its own was able to flood the EU with a tsunami of enemies and rapists]
PS "1970s and 1980s" (above)
[Damned technology. Wrong version of UA-cam has imposed itself on my dog recently]
The dup voted for brexit and now they are crying crocs tears 😢
The DUP's 3 word description of themselves was STD! Just saying.
😂😂😂
The brexit Paradox is that any govt capable of delivering brexit wouldn't. The brexit reality is that voters shrewd enough to decode brexit would've rejected it. Result - an inept/venal govt conned a majority of gullible/deluded electors. The brexit tragedy is that it will take years to recover from this self-inflicted wound
The truth is the truth. 🙏
Spot on👍
Absolutely spot on- nailed it
83% Eire took the safe effective stops transmission fully tested never met an Irish Nationalist that took it.
Because the EU is great? Why would any sovereign country want to be under a diktat is beyond comprehension
Delivery? What has the DUP ever delivered? Are they in the fast food industry now?
Pity the DUP campaigned for Brexit, all they wanted was a border on the island of Ireland 🇮🇪
I'm sorry - I couldn't help but not be able to hear that over the amount of times the DUP have stopped governance being able to take place in Northern Ireland altogether.
No problem. Leave the UK and join the EU.
I would happily take that deal. 🏴
Make sure that the English are included in the next referendum.
Then it wouldn't be the UK anymore. Just sad ole little Britain
Don’t threaten them with a good time
What's going on with the title screen of this video? 'Irish Ministers'....?
Didnt the DUP support Brexit?
And they opposed the GFA.
The DUP were opposed to the GFA and backed brexit, they are part of the problem.
No one got any benefits from brexshit
Thought they were , getting a hard border on the island of Ireland 🇮🇪 😂
The Brits have never cared about NI. Brexit is a perfect example. DUP backed Brexit then they put the border in the sea. Well done 👍🏻. Just get rid of the DUP and the U.K. United Ireland is a strong Ireland. 🇮🇪
Someone finally uses the B-word. Well done.
How about Northern Ireland leaves the Union? Then it can rejoin the EU. No one in the rest of the UK will mind in the least.
The loyalists in NI would
If NI decides to join the Republic of Ireland which is a member of the EU then automatically they become members of the EU.
How about England leaves what's left of the Union? The Celtic Nations will be fine without being drained of our resources, without being kept in a state of constant poverty, and actually being part of the global community, rather than being chained to England and it's quest for isolated solitude, and a diet of flags and exceptionalism. The Celtic Nations can't prop up England any longer, and can't afford the damage we're subjected to. England has made the UK a running joke on the global stage, and it's dragging the Celtic Nations down with it.
What a great idea! Why hasn't anyone else thought of that? 😅
"How about Northern Ireland leaves the Union?" A positive-voting referendum is needed in Northern Ireland for this to happen. At present such a referendum is unlikely to pass.
What is wrong with these People over in Ireland??
They moved into Ireland and took over, and begrudge the Natives being Irish, something that the foreigners are doing here in England.
I can fully understand the Irish People now.
Mainland British education tends to only cover the positives. There's a further 800 years of this (and much worse) bullshit.
Silly N I Ireland leaders! Don't they know we must never speak of the B-word. Yes, its made our problems worse, but lets all choose to ignore it. Maybe it will go away?
And maybe the threat of a totally unaccountable global govt will not transpire [via Brussels + Nato + Washington DC]. Sure if it does, maybe it won't turn into an Orwellian nightmare. Maybe the saying about powet corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely for once might not transpire!
Just move to a country thats already in the EU. Problem solved
Or join with the republic and automatically get back in.
Did anyone elsE notice that ladY wrote S T D
Not a surprise. The ills that Brexit caused in Northern Ireland are akin to needing an enormous amount of penicillin to cure the atrocity.
The DUP were a strong voice in the Brexit means Brexit. Which as we know means a British exit. It was never called a UKExit. It is funny that the DUP think they have done anything positive for their constituencies. They are the Tories for Northern Ireland, they fought against Northern Ireland’s voice to be Theresa Mays and Boris Johnson’s lapdogs. And what did they do with that power, they went against the will of the Northern Irish voice whilst claiming to be the voice of Northern Ireland
At last, political leaders who see how it has crippled the country

The problem was it wasn't properly thought out, what happens if different parts of the UK voted differently? Thats exactly what we got with Northern Ireland and Scotland voting Stay and England and Wales voting to Leave. Brexit was always going to be difficult because the EU as well as our own government was going to make it as difficult as possible to fully leave.
Irish unity it's the only solution for brexit!
How does that work?

No Rejoin party, so no point complaining.
Didnt they a chance to back Mays better brexit bill and rejected it? Sinn Fein dont even take their seats so have no right to complain about the outcome.
Sinn Féin MPs are elected on an abstentions platform. They represent their constituents and are entitled to express those views publicly. May's deal was pointless: it was doomed to fail, and the people of Northern Ireland didn't want Brexit in any form.
Sinn Fein don't take their seats because the Parliament at Westminster dictates that they must first swear an oath to a foreign King. They are still fairly elected constituency MPs, and are perfectly entitled to complain.
@@Sdakouls3 they should not get paid then if they can't be bothered sitting in parliament

They would, if they didn't have to "swear an oath" to a foreign king.
The person who needs to watch out is Mary Lou!
Sinn Fein refuse to engage with Parliament. They can do one
They stand on that principle of not swearing allegiance to a foreign monarch.
Don't like it? Give back the occupied counties of the north of Ireland.
Why would they recognise a parliament of what they view is an occupying force? Maybe learn some Irish history that they don’t teach in the UK and the UK’s role in that history.
That's why we vote for them.
