The refs missed some blatant fouls, mostly in Denver’s favour. Even Reggie was calling the refs out from the commentary box - it is round two of the playoffs, the refs cannot miss these calls (like that hack on Ant by KP3 in the 2nd qtr). Then calling these BS techs is ridiculous.

You got Rudy who doesn’t gaf who likes him and just does his job. Both of them were together as the franchise cornerstones along with a young guard in Donovan Mitchell and they failed together. You gotta imagine those two learned from that and are doing everything they can to help mold Ant into THE GUY. So far it’s working.

i wouldnt say that i have been a twolves fan since i was 8. and this wasnt a case of that. this was our bench depth winning and naz ried. which honestly equated to luck. we should not have the pieces we have but we do, and we are the only team with a strong 9 man rotation. naz and NAW fell onto us. no other team can beat them but us. and that comes down to depth

No size advantage for DEN over MIN like they had vs LAL. DEN has a size advantage over most teams they play and can force teams to play no more than 1 big at a time. Can’t do that vs MIN with KAT and Gobert 7+ and Naz pushing that height. With at least 2 of those 3 on the court at all times and KAT and Naz being great shooters, it inevitably means Jokic and or Gordon/MPJ are pulled away from the hoop and therefore out of position to rebound. As long as MIN plays at their norm I don’t think theres anything DEN can do to win except hope to have an outstanding offensive performance from their players. But that is unlikely given MIN has the best D and DEN bench is not as strong as last years.

An injured Jamal is as good as Mike Conley. Most of the best players in the series are in Minnesota. Thats why they are the better team than Denver.
Minnesota has multiple players that can guard Jokic. Denver has no one to guard Ant because Kcp is too small. That's why Bruce Brown was needed last year. He guarded ant, Jimmy Butler and similar wings.

In Dec of 1989 I watched the Wolves play the Lakers in their inaugural season at the Metrodome so from Doug West and Tyrone Corbin to Anthony Edwards and Kat, I've seen it all here in MN. I've been waiting and waiting, year after year to see this team even compete outside of 2004, and after game 2 of the opening series against the Suns, It hit me that this is finally the year. Im so Impressed with Edwards as a person, his dedication, passion and character specifically, that I'm glad we had to wait for him.
How Murray didn't get a Tech for that on Towns??

How many calls went in Ant's favor versus calls against? In particular, Reggie was beside himself about the no-call when Ant was hacked and Charles outrages with the T called Ant for a cold stare. I was surprised the refs actually let Wolves get away with a win. Someone must have been in their ear.

That's exactly what I saw last night the game had a MJ Chicago Bulls feel to it and Denver couldn't handle it.
I think his game is a little better just because 3 pointers are so much more important in this era of the game.
The fact he can hit the 3, can put it on the floor, has the mid range and can definitely finish at the basket.
