Yes. I'm wondering how they'll do in the long run. While I respect and appreciate everyone's sincerity, there's the damage that has been done to the young man, his ability to love, that must be skillfully and consistently addressed. At some point I would anticipate that he would test them greatly, unless he gets help that might prevent that.

What a wonderful story and happy ending for them all. This lad could have taken the wrong path and got into drugs, crime and other bad things, as many do. I'm very happy for them all.. Best of luck for the future, from a viewer in England.
My grandfather and his siblings were all put up for adoption when they were toddlers. Their mother left the father, and he couldn't care for them, so he gave them up. His youngest brother and sister were adopted, but he and his brother(closest to his age) were never adopted. He and his brother had no choice but to join the military once they turned 18. His brother had scholarships to play football in college, but the orphanage nuns(catholic orphanage with nuns) ripped it up and refused to let him go. After he married my grandmother, they found his father and met up with him, only once. He never got to meet up with his sister or youngest brother... He had his one brother, and he was happy. All you need is one person to make a difference. I couldn't imagine how this guy went through all of that alone. So glad it worked out for him!
Sooo happy for him! His story really inspires everyone to never ever give up even when all of the odds are against you. Hope that his life will be happy from now on.
Amidst all the hate and blood shed in America and around the world it's heart warming and gives me hope for the future with these kinds of stories...God bless the Hunt family...
you have to wonder why there were so many failed foster parent placements -- e seems like a fine adjusted young man -- good luck to him and his family.
sometimes people forget children expecting too many financial gain and have little care for children. children sense when they arnt needed and sometimes act out and even well adjusted kids does tht too. n sometimes the system doesnt make it easy on good foster families too n they just give up. so many reason. i pray my son never have to go through the system.
I wanted a fodter child when i was with my daughters dad because my grandma took care of me he said no he didnt want anyone living with us. He then later said after buying a new car he would love to get a foster child for help with the car payments and how his relative had a teenage girl and were getting paid to have her i was very disgusted by him long story short when our daughter was born he left!
@@akaishadouglas8259 I'm sorry he was the wrong person. I hope people like him get what they need, not what they want. I hope you get what you need and what you want.
That's a nice, inspirational story. I was taken from my birth parents because they were abusive at a young age (in 1989) and put into the system. Foster homes back then only wanted kids because of the money that came with them from the State. Needless to say, I ended up in an orphanage from age 6 until 17 and would have been homeless if it wasn't for a friends family that I met while attending college. It's sad that I was never adopted and I wish more people would look into it.
Michael M. I agree, I am planning to adopt when I am married and can support a child, I mean, there are already so many children without parents in the world, why not adopt them? They may have never had a family, or at least, one that they can remember, so why not give them one?
Michael M. I am so sorry to hear you had such a tough situation. I really hope you've been able to find some people now that you call family and that you can use your story to help others : )

It is so sad that he wasn't there to be adopted by them along with his sister the first time around, but that gives this adoption a lot more meaning, because he has overcome those hardships and now has a new chance at having a real family.
