Cagney has run at the RMR every season since restored in 2003. In this vid there is steam coming from a split pipe which we are now replacing before Cagney goes to Kirklees. There are 4 other similar locos in the UK but at the moment none ever run. It is a little engine with a big personality and thanks for your interest in it and in us.
Thanks for watching, I'll admit the Cagney has been my favourite at the railway ever since I saw her run in May 2007. Great to hear that the Cagney is still touring other railways and hope everything goes well with the fix and Kirklees visit. I will definitely continue to visit the railway. :)
On average something on Cagney needs fixing every 2 or 3 times we run it! It is designed for shuttling 100yds back and forth, not for 10 miles a day. Even so it is a great little engine and it is crystal clear to see why so many of them were built. @@Meengineer100
