I did all the steps, but when I copy the file to put it in the game data, it gives me a message : Warning! The File app version does not support grant access to folders. You may to uninstall this update. What should I do?
go to settings search files app click on top right 3 dots click uninstall updates or directly click on app info of your default file manager and 3 dots top right , uninstall

yup you need internet connection if you want to only enjoy offline mode i suggest you to play on old versions

Use F1vm to apply mod and than restore it in your original android with gplay
