"I'm not here to preach!"???? PLEASE keep on preaching. We need more people like you and Jamel aka Jamal preaching that we CAN get along together. We have far to many trying to divide us and fueling the hatred. We need more people like you!
Great reaction, thank you for doing Don Williams. He had such a smooth voice, and so many great songs. To me, he is the epitome of country music. He doesn't have to jump and dance around, put on a show with lights and fireworks, he just stands there, and sings. The music is very good, but not loud enough to drown out his voice, because the lyrics are the important part. And the audience is entertained by just his voice and the songs he sings. Thanks again.
I am 29 years i grew up with my grandparents and heard a lot of old country but every time i hear don williams i stop and listen because there’s just something about him that brings you to tears
Sir you just blew me away what great message love, you know at one time there was this man and he taught peace and a new commandment that's to love one another as I have loved you, Jesus Christ our LORD AND SAVIOR Thanks again listened to you then couldn't stop
Don Williams is one of the most loved American singers in the world. He did a 3 days of sold out concerts in Zimbabwe Africa. He's loved in the Middle East, South America, Russia, Australia, and Northern Europe.
Michael, I turned 62 this past August. I've been around for quite a while, seen a lot of things, grown in a lot of ways, more often then not without intention or even awareness of it. Every now and then I'm reminded of what seem to be happier, simpler times in my life, mostly by hearing the songs those times produced. This is one of those long-forgotten songs that took me back to better days and simpler philosophies. Watching you play this song and share your thoughts restored a peaceful sense of goodwill and magnified my appreciation for you, your spirit, and your outreach. I can't thank you enough for sharing this. God bless.
The funny thing is, Africa loves this man so much he went to Zimbabwe to play for them. Go to most any of his videos and you will see a bunch of Afrikaners there saying how much they loved the Gentile Giant.
Don Williams wrote, & sang, some of the greatest country hits ever, & it's almost criminal, how so few people know his music! He should be up there with Kenny Rogers, & Dolly!
Have you. Heard. John Conley. Rose colored. Glasses. And. John. Anderson. You're living. Blues eyes. Don. Was. A. Beautiful. Singer. But. Lived to. Win. One. CMA award. For this. Song. Gosh you. Took me. Way back. Thank you. So much.
The Gentle Giant was a special man who told stories that made us all better people..stories of respect and morals and most of all love...sendin yall some of these Alabama stars
This was one of my dad's favorite singers. The other one was Marty Robbins. Listening to this really made me miss my dad. I've never stopped liking this song.

Oh thank you for this. My grandparents LOVED “ol Don Williams” (TM Grandma). Went to his concert with them when I was young. Special special memories. I miss them beyond measure.
I cannot tell you how happy I am that you are doing a Don Williams reaction. One of my favorite singers of all time. Please, check out, "Good Ole' Boys Like Me". Pure poetry. Yes, I have been to his concert. No antics, just pure "sanging" with full blown poetic content.
So impressed you reacted to this great country artist. He was my wife's favorite country singer of all time. His silky smooth melted butter baritone voice was unmatched by any artist at his time. He put out great songs and great performances. He was always laid back and was a very humble person. He was a rare gem in the country music industry. Thanks for your reaction.
You hit it on the nose. a child has a pure heart. There was a musical in the 50's South Pacific" that had a song you might want to check out and it is the adults who are to blame. The song is "you got to be carefully taught"
You are right. Things don't have to be dramatized. Many times, simple is best, and it's your channel, you jump on a soapbox any time you want. Maybe I appreciate your words so much because I so often agree with your thoughts. The world is a better place when we practice kindness. Especially on the occasions that you may not feel like it. But given the choice between showing kindness and spreading hate and discontent, let kindness win! ❤
Recommendations: Lord, Mr. Ford by Jerry Reed, Louisiana Saturday Night by Mel McDaniel, Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain by Willie Nelson, and Killin' Time by Clint Black.

Would love to request a song. Billy Joe Shaver just passed away on the 28th of this month. He was a great song writer and singer. One of my favorites of his is Live Forever. The 1993 remastered video is the best one if you are kind enough to do this. I enjoy your reactions so much.
