Imagine being asked to live in a poor area of Africa for 20 years. How long do you think you would last? This might seem unusual, but in Nigeria, there's a Chinese man who has done exactly that. He didn't move there by choice but due to his job. For the last 20 years, this man has worked closely with local farmers to cultivate what is known as super rice.
Super rice is a type of rice that produces more food using fewer resources. By promoting this technology, he has helped around 800,000 people overcome hunger. His contributions have been greatly appreciated by the local community, and he has even been honored as a local chief.
In today’s video, we will delve deeper into the story of this Chinese man. We will discuss how he became a chief and examine the significant technologies and changes he has introduced in Nigeria over the past two decades.
