I'm 68 years old. I've been listening to music since I can remember. It's my therapy no doubt.. growing up in the 60s I was privileged to have some great artist some fantastic music.. all these years gone by and music still touches my spirit my life Force.. I want to thank all the musicians who keep creating such awesome music. This song brings tears to my eyes almost every time I hear it. And I've listened to it alot.. again thank you for blessing me with such a gift. Hopefully y'all will continue to pour your souls into your passion. I cannot even begin to explain how much this song speaks to me. I was recently diagnosed PTSD after suffering for many years from it(November 2017). This song is therapy in itself. It reminds me that I’m not alone. It reminds me that not everyone is against me or trying to hurt or kill me. It reminds me to just be okay when you think everything is ending, whether that be life or love. Everything comes to an end, but some things don’t have to end unless you allow it. I really want to send a sincere thank you and hug to the gentleman that wrote this and the way this is sung is a voice of a guardian angel. Thank you so much to this incredible band who needs to reach more souls.

This soldier of the mind fights demons as he prays that the angels will take over for this day and keep those demons at bay and night and the fright. Night, for there is no light. The soldier of the mind fights hard and looks well on the outside but on the inside he fights with all of his might. He prays that someday he will see the light. Most do not understand the soldier of the mind as he tries to smile everyday and let all know that yes he is ok...at least for today, However the upcoming one will he be ok? As an addict in recovery from multiple substances, this song explains exactly why I was an addict. Along with other multiple traumas. Through my healing, I'm almost 2 years clean and sober from all substances. For those in recovery, I'm so freaking proud of you!! For those that relapse over and over, never quit trying to get clean. It's possible and I will be your biggest cheerleader! For those still in active addiction, you are worthy, you are loved, you are not what those intrusive thoughts say. I believe in you and I love you! The pain when you start to feel is absolutely horrible but as you heal those wounds, It does really get easier. I heard about them about 1 year ago and came across several them in a random passerby meet. They know who I was and am in the music industry. It was a pleasure to meet them. I do hope that the world I once knew will be their saving grace in their lives. Its a hard world today to what the generation before them had in the music industry and in the working world that did save the lives of the generation before.
