When you are filming from here to there I would appreciate you filming all the way there instead of stopping outside of town. I enjoy you travels, especially with the lock down....... PEACE! Thanks, Jeff
Coming back from Phoenix in 2017, we spent the night in Glenwood Springs. The elevated sections of the interstate are so unusual outside of a city. Beautiful country! I love Colorado.
Hi MMM....i dont know how you can drive past all that water and not stop to fish!! Beautiful ride!! Thanks for taking me with you again!! Dee from Chicago!!
I am once again enjoying the magnificent view of your travels. Your camera shots makes it real like watching it on a flat screen 📺. Keep them coming. Also did you stop anymore to go fishing. Happy travels and God bless.
Mike, quick question...we were riding shotgun with you and you were going up a mountain and at one point there were rams, I was telling my sister and she said,, ooooh I would love to see that...well do you think I can find the video! Would you happen to remember where that was, the rams were crossing the road and walked straight up the mountain side, you were going slow so we could see. IT WAS AWESOME!!! Thanks Mike
I'm ready set go👍✌❤ beautiful country, this is fun, thank you kindly for the ride along:) Sorry I don't say much,I'm enjoying the view. The mountains are just magnificent. I can't imagine how hard it was to make that road, mercy. Awe,I don't wanna go home, lol oh well,I'm new to your channel so I'm sure I will catch another ride✌❤
Beautiful country ! Bless your heart yes those dam skitter bites are horrid we got them bad around here ..i put peroxide on them and than some Neosporin and band aid it seams to help ...i been driving for Grubhub and when i feel myself getting stressed i just remind myself of what u said “ you can drive it stressed or relaxed and driving it relaxed feels a lot better :-)
T? hank you very much Sir. I lived in Glenwood for 5 years with my parents in the late 60s early 70 . as a kid I rode my bike up and down CO 82 Thank you form a Disabled veteran
I always liked Avon Skin so Soft insect repellent. It sounds like that's what you're referring to. It still is available on Avon's website. I also found it on Amazon.
Mike get some abc solution for your bug bites or eat garlic the bugs will not bother you it works or get one or two of the old fashioned yellow sticky fly and bug strips at Walmart they will catch mosquitoes or flies or nats they work great. Enjoy all your rode trips used to live in Colorado hope to get back out there for wedding anniversary husband has terminal cancer probably be last trip. Wish you safe travels and good health Linda Schmidt god bless
Hello Mike: Doesn’t look as if there is enough runoff to raise lake Meade at all. I was hoping there would be more. Spring runoff almost over? Maybe next year if coming winter has more snow. Beautiful drive, thank you for posting, see you next trip. Edward
Hey there MMM, wish we had more snow to make the Colorado River more beautiful raging downstream..the scenery is awesome..thank you..until next time..☮ peace ✌
Thankyou Mike stunning love the drive and ride looks different with out 5 feet of fresh snow. Hahaha I like the line but they want there stuff..... kind of like I want the beef but do raise them here . Hahaha ... oh well I did enjoy thanks again Mike.. till next time spread the kindness.
Thank you for not only showing us beautiful places we would never have seen, but, and for taking the time to edit and all to get them to us Central California watching
Hi Mike. Next time you stop for fishing, burn a citronella candle or two while your out. The skeeters will not enter your cab when you climb in. You can get good sized candles by the case on Amazon. That is what I do and it works well. Safe Travels and Happy Trails.
cruising along that river.... very cool... I can see a truck-mounted spear gun with bio-laser targeting you can launch at fish in that river as you drive along, the GPS tracked spears float the fish to the surface, where your truck-based fishing drone recovers them & flies them back to the roof-mounted cooler on your rolling truck :)
If you're taking photos or videos, and you want to get rid or cut down on reflections, use a polarizing filter. They can make your videos and photos look like they have never been before. Cut glare from water, clouds in the sky, hot air balloons and a zillion other things. You can adjust how much glare you want to get rid of. I've been using them for 50 years.
Hey everyone, back here Nov 22 2021, looking at all the green in the canyon and now driving it looking at all the burn scar from the Grizzley Creek fire and all the damage from rain storms this summer. Things sure do change in a hurry. Be careful out there Mike and we'll see you on YT later. Peace
I am learning so much about Colorado from these trips Mike takes. Those igloo shaped huts at Restone were "coking huts" where the miners fired the coal from the mines into coal for industrial and home use, their kilns got up to 2400 degrees! Wow!
You mentioned the rich areas hating to see and hear trucks but want what you bring them! I supervised maintenance at WDW for 27 years and we always knew they didn't want to see us, hear us or smell us but wanted their paint pristine, ac temperatures perfect, all lights at max, no roof leaks ever, commodes flushing and drinking fountain water at the perfect temperature! Sounds like what you truckers go through!
When you first started the video (at the base of McClure Pass), you passed a couple of waterfalls on your left (west side). In Redstone those were coke ovens for coal mining. I lived in this area for awhile
Think he seen your signal, just wanted to ignore it like so many often do. They see a trucks signal, they think it means speed up and block. Seems he likes to use sign language as self expression. LOL! Really enjoy your road footage through the western states. Many thanks!
Mike we lived at Minden Colorado years ago and this single young man had a successful plumbing business he had to go to Vail into rich area stupid rich man wanted him to park 5 miles from his rich mansion to carry his equipment in his mansion he told the rich guy to keep his mansion. True story. God bless enjoy all your trucking rides keeps us going.the schmidts
Those ovens you see on your left side in the first couple of minutes of the video are called " coke " ovens ...coal is burned in them to produce coke to be used in the manufacturing of steel.....
just when you get in your truck to sleep make it dark as possible ,,then point a flashlight on the wall, and hold it close,do the skeeters will go to the little lighted area and then you can kill them all,,,,
Keep on trucking I am enjoying riding shotgun with you also. It is enough that the people know there was an election. The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything." -- Joseph Stalin

That is some beautiful country. That is what I like about your videos. Is the scenery .
I've been through a lot of Colorado but never in the Hiwy 133 area. That area is gorgeous.
Ditto
That elevated hwy thru the Glenwood Canyon took years to build, and many millions of $...

Buford rd from Meeker up to Puma Paw, cuts across the mountains to New Castle.
You're in my old stomping grounds.
I'm from Rifle.
Beautiful scenery. It was amazing to see how the territory changes on Hwy 133 before you get to Carbondale.
Great video Mike! Thank you 😊! PEACE!
Wonderful journey riding gently along, just stunning scenery and going through the narrow ever so deep passes, wow. You do see some fabulous sights.
As a Mountain Man the Skeeters are attracted to you. It's only the females that bite!
T? hank you very much Sir. I lived in Glenwood for 5 years with my parents in the late 60s early 70 . as a kid I rode my bike up and down CO 82 Thank you form a Disabled veteran
Mike I looked it up. Those were COKE ovens in Redstone. Started in the 1800's. PEACE
I have lived in Marble, for the last 25 yrs. A local restoration project has kept them from completely deteriorating.

With all this water from the snow melt and the state of California will not be able to use it efficiency. Go figure.👍✌️
for mosquitoes I've found that Vics VapoRub works wonders, seems the bugs aren't overly impressed with this ointment.

What a great ride along, hopefully all the potheads in CO. won't destroy the state
Where's Jeremy ?
the potheads are the ones paying for new roads, schools, and infrastructure with the tax revenue buddy.
@@addicted2nipples The man has a valid point.
