So today we met with Dean and his amazing GSI.
I was gutted with this video, lost virtually all GoPro footage of our Mexico runs due to clipping audio! I’ll live and learn guys

@@stelfc5384 Yeah mine went after 160,000 unfortunately had only just replaced the gear box but trouble without having a garage it was rotten in most places underneath.. which would never have known just looking at the exterior 😥 Miss seeing that traction control light flickering 🤭

MK4 GSI’s were never a super common car...they came out as the 90’s insane insurance premiums for hot hatches was still a thing, lol.
I remember a mate of mine taking me for a spin in one that had been tuned a bit, my comment still makes them laugh “I know its a turbo but has it got a turbo!?” felt so flat compared to a C20LET.
Gota love a mk4 GSI they still look the bollicks, and this 1 is brutal 👍
She’s a beaut, unfortunate it broke but owner now has a 500-600bhp VXR Astra that’ll feature on the channel soon!

vauxhall1990 it took some serious abuse. Lived it’s life at bouncing off the limiter in 5th. Did a 1000 miles a week in it for like years so it’s done incredible really.

Hate to say it but I can relate to the problem at the end of this vid. Mine didn't show until the engine was ticking over and oil light started flickering just after nailing it from Manchester to tesco near santa pod. Turned out to be swarf jamming the pressure relief valve.

The Opel grille looks "better" than the standard one, and actually matches the standard lower grilles on the GSi. I went the other way and bought "OSV" lower grilles which match the standard upper grille. Looks nice and OEM+.

Gtx2871r 500+ that's funny cause looking at the compressor map you're not gonna do more than 450hp. It just won't push the airflow to burn the required amount of fuel.
Put this on a reputable dyno like dyno dynamics and watch it spit out 430 to 440hp.
Happy dyno takes money from dreamers 🙄
