    This is a good example of how you can isolate issues and improve them during real matches. It's better to focus on a learning goal that just trying to win by all means necessary.

    It really makes me wonder: if I'm playing Ryu and can't throw fireballs, then why the fuck am I playing Ryu for, instead of playing Akuma?

      Akumas fireballs are even better than Ryu’s lol. If you’re playing Akuma you definitely wanna be spamming fireball.

      @@dylbert3088 Yeah, that's exactly my point. Ryu is supposed to be the shoto with the best fireball game, but if Akuma can do all of his regular bullshit like demon flip, air fireball etc., and also steal Ryu's core trait, then what is Ryu's purpose as a character? To be a worst version of Ken and Akuma?

    Dude, I never use Hadokens at a range as Ryu. Only rarely as heck. It's the way to play with the least openings, man. Fun.

    Curious what your plan is going forward, how youre going to bring back Fireballs into your gameplan

      I think when he does bring back fireballs it will be done so sparingly and decisively.
