I had to cut the audio of a 12 minutes video down for this, so if there's any choppiness in the audio that's why. I'm not that good at it.
OOPS it’s been awhile! My hands/wrists decided to give up on me in February and have not gotten better, so I have had to limit the amount of drawing I do and how I draw as a result. In that time I also finished my thesis, graduated college, moved back home, and got my first long-term job, which has limited the amount of free time I have. But I finally cobbled something together. Consider this my Halloween video of the year.
If you aren’t familiar with Morrowind this will probably make very little sense, but I hope those of you who aren’t can still enjoy the visuals anyway! Feel free to ask questions! I put quite a lot of thought into this video! It lives in a weird space where I think I put too much effort in to call it an actual animatic, but also it is not polished enough to be called anything else, so “animatic” it is.
I’ll probably be pivoting heavily to Elder Scrolls fanwork from here on out btw sorry about that (but I’m not sorry at all lol). If you’re just here for warriors, I would leave.

my father is a long-time morrowind player and its still his favorite elder scrolls game, and he was SO delighted to see its lore so perfectly shown off here. you made him grin so much getting to see his favorite game's layers of lore given the appreciation it deserves
1:32 "past life connection" absolutely sent me. I also really like young(er) Vivec having a flaming head, I feel like that's something that gets left out of a lot of things
Its always wild to see the picture of the actual protrayal like you kinda realize that the tribunal actually kind of lost it and litteraly were ripping apart their friend with their bare hands and mutilating him for power
This is pure genius, and I'm only starting to realize it now. the way it alternates between the Sixth House and the Tribunal Temple shows that they are really the same thing. Same goals, similar methods, similar motivations. It's up to the Nerevarine to decide which is which.
Jaw dropped for the entire video. The care and attention to all the lore. An incredibly goofy VHS video "How to" premise with an utterly horrifying setting. The VHS filter, voice acting, art, and animation. The use of Daedric font, a steady descent of madness, and snapping back to the start to round it, amazing

Absolutely amazing work! Honestly, it’d be absolutely wild if Mr.Dagoth over there saw into the future and STILL decided to become a cult leader anyways.
As someone familiar with Morrowind lore, this is AMAZING. Great job! I love your portrayal of Vivec in particular. And the setup of using the time Voryn was left with the heart is so clever.

This is a very well done animation for Morrowind's lore. Everyone else here has already pretty much covered why this is effective. I just wanted to mention how much I appreciate the androgynous design for Vivec here, this is how I always imagine they should look.

Lol my Morrowind propaganda is working! (although if you do end up playing, I would recommend looking up some guides/tips first! The game doesn’t have any tutorials)

This is harrowing.. i just keep rewatching this still and cant quite take my mind off of this. It hadn't even crossed my mind how perfect this audio would be for morrowind. I already love the game, but this makes me look at it completely differently.
